As Filmora keeps adding new features, and AI, it is apparent that this will now involve paying for additional AI 'credits'. And, most new add-ins and assets are not free, either. This has gone from a reasonably priced, decent video editing software program, to paywall software. I am NOT happy with this, at all!! And, am now seriously considering going back to DaVinci Resolve.

Corner pin is a great feature i definitely hope to see more 3d effects you guys can bring im most excited to hopefully one day see the 3d perspective text effect where you can motion track or attach it to a building and see the side of it and make it feel like its in your video been using filmora for over 4+ years now and dont plan on leavin yet. I have a very specific question that could be looked into please. I love using the AI silence detection to edit down large chunks of gameplay footage. However the problem is that the gameplay would have to be fairly low for the silence detection to work well. I there for suggest the following. In OBS most creators record their game and voice on separate audio channels, lets say 2 and 3 for recording and channel 1 for streaming (this would be all audio together) At the moment in filmora you can right click your clip in the library and choose the drop down to select what audio channel you want to import onto the timeline. You can do this twice to get both 2 and 3 audio channel to show separately on the timeline. this is nice so we can boot or lower gameplay audio. HOWEVER now is the issue. you cant use the silence detection tool to cut the video down to just the parts where I talk. It would be nice if there was a way to link both audio channels on the timeline have the AI Silence detection cut it both at the same point but only using the voice channel as reference for the tool.

is it possible to make corner pin a simple function that will be located where we can resize the image? Can you add 3d detection to the video, thanks to which you can put text and it will move relative to what is happening in the video, as in Premier Pro? Can you add a feature that will fill in the cut-out area in an image or video using artificial intelligence, or the ability to erase objects from the image?

Wow the corner pin is so good for my style of video. Lookingforward to trying the transition tool as well. My long-form videos typically have over 100 cuts and edits. So this will same me a ton of time. UPDATE : Filmora, once again you've hidden these behind a paywall despite me having paid for a Lifetime License - shame as it ruins a good user experience 😥😥😥😥

I also understand that developing new software costs a great deal. However I think Lifetime Liscense holder should be recognised by way of a consession. After all we invested a lump sum early on to finance the development of the platform. Imagine investing your own money in a business where every new option comes with a pricetag. I hope you can understand my frustration and that of other Lifetime License holders. p.s. I signed up as a Lifetime License user not a Perpetual user. A feature to take the contents of one Compound clip and drop it into an other compound clip easily (like drag and drop). Also, one should be able to view the contents of a compound clip but just hovering over the compound clip rather than opening it. It will save a lot of time and confusion

Hey guys i was wondering if you guys could implement a (Sort By timeline) Function that sorts by place on timeline, allowing you quickly group together all the files you haven't used yet at the top or bottom (depending on your ascending or descending), mainly just want it to be sorted in used and unused but if you could get to actually sort the clips on the timeline as well that would be even better (although files cut and used in different sections would be as bit trickly) P.s i love filmore been with it for years! and love watching it grow! great job everyone!
Oooo also a match ratio toggle lock, So when you go into Crop and zoom you can play around with the Starting frame and Ending Frame and you'll be able to lock the x and y size so it'll stay the same ratio

We want basic fundamental editing features like pen tool to make path, clipping mask, parallax camera feature and... movable anchor point with Bezier keyframe...these all are must for any editor. Does the corner pin function track the position of edges in videos in case the background is not a static image but a video clip, or will it have to be done manually using keyframes to move the edges?
Yes, you will need to use keyframes to adjust the edges manually. You can start with Motion Tracking for initial tracking and then refine the details with keyframes. Just after I purchased Filmora again for 3 months today (like I usually do) I find out that I have to pay more and more for AI credits . I really enjoyed Filmora but It's time to switch sadly.

Unfortunately, the current voice cloning language translation is unusable. The process was not thought through as there is no way to correct the translated text before generating the cloned voice. This is so important because the translation still makes a lot of mistakes. For example, the English "you/You" is sometimes translated as a polite salutation and sometimes as a personal salutation. An intermediate step to correct the text before generating the cloned speech output is essential, but unfortunately does not exist and therefore the entire tool is unusable. Rask AI shows how it can actually work. But overall I like Filmora. If the option is improved, Filmora is perfect!

Why use filmora and pay for extra features like corner pin, when it is all for free in Davinci? There once was a promise that we have all time upgrade for free - you couldn’t keep that promise.
First, create a text box by going to the Titles section in the top left corner. Enter your desired text into the text box. Then, click on the text box in the timeline. You will see the "Text to Speech" option appear in the top right corner. Follow the steps in the video content, and the AI will mimic your tone to read out the text in the text box!

The 'pay to play' model is really pushing me away from Filmora. I loved this software for years. Please don't go in that direction or you will lose your base. There will be tons of free AI features provided by other software and competitors, this is not worth you losing us over it. Please!
