These “what’s new” videos are done so thoughtfully, really trying to give viewers, who love the Smokies so much, a real good idea of how they want to spend their time there; precious time there that goes by very quickly! We really appreciate the effort & thoughtfulness🙏🏻☺️.
I really wish I could explain how thankful my family and I are for all the videos you and your family make. We have been watching you guys for a couple years now and we make sure to watch all the new videos so we know what all we want to do when we get to the area each summer. Thank you to you and your family and keep up the great work.
One of the very best channels on RU-vid always!! Thank you so much for keeping us completely updated on all that’s happening and going to happen in the area. We are going to be there the first of May and the videos have been very helpful in planning some of the details of our trip. We appreciate you being there and we’ll always be watching!
The 850 acre project by the ankesta people sounds very exciting from all I’ve seen. It sounds like it will incorporate family commercial type attractions while also including the outdoors
As someone who gets really anxious about traveling to new places, this channel has been super helpful! I was able to get a really good lay of the land and was able to make our itinerary beforehand, so we didn’t waste time trying to figure out what to do or where to go once we got there! I found this channel last fall when my husband and I were trying to plan our first visit to Gatlinburg, and now we are planning our second! Love the channel, keep up the great work 👍🏻
We live in Cherokee and my mom was born and raised in Pigeon Forge and we have family who lives behind Huck Finns restaurant and i have to say even having come over the mountain since i was born and having family who own hotels and shops around pigeon forge, i still watch your channel to get ideas when we come over! So thank you!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for these videos! My father and I took a father-and-son trip last year and are looking forward to returning in August and exploring some of what we explored before and exploring new things! Your videos help us narrow down what exactly we want to do and for that I am GRATEFUL! Keep up the great work! - Tyler
I'm so glad I found your Channel! I love this area of our beautiful country, it is a little piece of heaven on Earth! You and your family do an excellent job of describing places. I would love to experience Dig N Zone with my grandkids. I know they would love it! Thank you for your time and energy you put into your videos!
Because of your TikTok video, I realized Dollywood is opening this Saturday. I thought about it for about 5 minutes, then went online and got tickets !!! Maybe I’ll see you somewhere around this weekend. Thank you so much for your videos!! Just subscribed to your RU-vid channel but I always see you on TikTok ❤
One event you may want to mention is the Ford Mustang convention, Ponies in the Smokies. It is March 18-23 at the Sevierville Convention Center. It will be a crowded week and we are looking forward to being there with our Mustang! Hope we see you there.
There's always so much going on out there that I can't wait to return. Crazy Mason looks great, but those drinks definitely need to be shared because of the sugar content, haha.
Thankful for your channel. We are taking a family trip to the Smokies starting the week of the 17th. Thanks for posting the school Spring break list, good to know we will be there when the crowds are to a minimum.
Our spring break is the first week of April also. We will be going to visit grandma in Virginia and will stop by Wilderness one night to see their new addition!
Gonna be there from the 24th -29th so this video was very informative. I’m worried I won’t be able to see the National park since you said there is roads closed
Another great video on the happenings in the area. I do want to caution viewers that the new Dig N Zone, while an amazing concept to be able to play with miniature monster vehicles safely, the prices are OUTRAGEOUS! A family of 5, 3 kids 2 parents, is going to cost you $350!!!!!! They will be losing money quickly with those ridiculous prices.
Thanks. Keep in mind they are the only one like it in the southeast USA. People pay for what they value & there are many that will value having their kids get to do these things. Higher retail price also gives rooms for discounts such as their 30% off for military or to run discounts & specials like we just saw go up for 50% (that went quick).
Thanks for the update. For the new VR/mini golf place, are they keeping the go kart track on the bottom level? And has construction started on the new nerf place/crayola place?
Our pleasure! The go carts on the lower floor remain & can be bundled with upstairs indoor activities. We plan to break down the pricing of all activities once they complete construction. There is some indoor construction that has occurred, but nothing showing on the outside of the building yet for the nerf/crayola place. We will try to show updates of it as they occur...
Cannot wait for the adventure park at light #10! Adding mountain biking means my husband is far more willing to go to Pigeon Forge multiple times a year instead of just once. (It’s my home away from home. Love it there!)
I am new to the channel and like it a lot. If I heard you correctly at the 4:22 minute mark, you said Friday March 17th, March 17th is a Sunday, not a Friday.
I was in Branson for a day over the weekend. I drove by the Dig attraction they're putting in there. It appears to be a fraction as big as the one in Pigeon Forge.
October of this year will be our firs5 time visiting Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Regards to Anakeesta, do I only need one entrance ticket to experience the fall festival ? Or is an extra charge? What’s your top restaurants? How’s Jason Aldeans? Or Ole Red? Would you recommend Dolly stampede dinner show? Is it busy the 2nd week in October? Sorry lots of questions. I’ve been watching your vlogs like crazy. Very fun!
No update on the construction in Gatlinburg where Puckers was or the old McDonald's building. Heard Parrot Mountain was adding a store in the old Claire's location in Gatlinburg
I may walk through Gatlinburg soon & can show it then. I don’t want to keep including it over & over again every month. I’ll check out the old Claire’s then…thanks!
I know there are people who remember the area into the 70s and 80s. I started visiting in the 90s and can say it has changed tremendously but by far, the number of people visiting has exploded. Speaking of changes, $17 for a milkshake. Wow.
We went there in late March and the place was over crowded, over priced, to walk around a little town that has traffic issues. No reason to go back to gatlinburg. Four hour visit was three hours too long.
Really, honestly, it is pretty much always crowded now outside of January/February. The crowds just increase as May approaches. It's just insanely crowded during the summer and in the fall.
@@AdventureIsOutThere Spring can be ok but for fall you need to go in November. Anytime that I've ever been there in October it's quite crowded and I always go during the week. Stopped going on weekends.
I can't say I'm very excited about the ATV park. It just seems like another source of air and noise pollution. I wish they would ban the ATV-type rentals from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, too (and noisy motorcycles), they're especially annoying at Cades Cove. I love the area and don't want to see the tranquility and the wildlife further compromised.
