Stud is a separate component of assembly, not just growing from part model! Any two components put together in any way make assembly. This is simply not representing real word situation. Keep it real people. This is one of the insane ideas implemented in Solidworks similar to "Multibody formed sheet metal part" How possibly one can have multibody sheet metal part but not assembly in real world??
