Curious of the benefits here when you could just buy one can instead and have any other unit with utility in its place You could always level it sure, but for a higher cost than just, more cans. Plus if you’re looking to sell it it just sounds like wasted money. I guess the nuance of playing it correctly is a little easier to practice than to describe on paper. It seemed to work okay here

Maybe they can change it to When bought/sold permanently give +3/+3 to shop

it's just not good enough. I think maybe as a tier 3 it would be OK. Compare it to the Turkey for example, which is only 1 tier higher (different pack I know). Turkey not only gives a permanent +3/+3 to units you buy, it also does it in battle to units summoned.

yeah it's kinda silly playing for 6 wins instead of 10. You don't need to take nearly as many risks and can just ride out a mediocre build to cruise across the "finish" line.

@@Scroolewse but that's kinda the point though. Going for 10 wins every time will just be a bunch of sweaty meta builds. The "6 wins is a win" mentality lets him experiment with some very fun builds

@@lunarshining7964 Yeah you can just throw silly builds out and call them wins but it's just too easy I think. It's a more achievable goal when you're doing "more fun" builds like hedgehog but for me it's just not satisfying to make a mediocre team and ride it out as far as it can go. 10 wins isn't just forcing the meta either. If you do that you'll occasionally get a lucky 10-win but most runs will just be destroyed by the amount you're wasting on rerolls. The _real_ 10 win teams are the ones you made as a result of doing risky pivots and compromises, they'll usually end up with something meta in the end but getting to that meta team is the fun part. By allowing yourself to be satisfied with 6 wins you are not forcing yourself to take those same risks which makes things more boring.

Or if the pup was closer to the front. I like to let the bats get bluebird buffs after the first few rounds so they feel more useful.

NL's problem with the puppy is that he thinks he HAS to save 3 gold. He has to realize that the puppy is giving you the option of buying a pear whenever you want, but you don't HAVE to. Sometimes its better to buy a chocolate or an animal instead of the pear.

He threw by buying the dragon when he had a level 2 sauropod and had to sell a level 2 dolphin to make it work . This man loves the dragon

@@blankspace2185 if you have a Buffalo or something else that triggers on buy its not too bad but yeah its definitely a lot worse. The trex got the same nerf but its still really good

@@Cherokeechuck9 That’s because Trex ability costs 3 gold where Dragon costs your entire turn, as well as giving the buff to one more unit you actually care about.

Only way to play puppy well is to have 2 out at the same time imo

@@benbilbro516 As well as getting them both pre turn 5, even double puppy on turn 5 is too late for them to be usable, and only having 1 on turn 3/4 is too little. It’s crazy how one gold difference made puppy from an auto take to the worst unit in the game.

With a Puppy you can't use the gold you have remaining to scale further. With the Dog you can use all your gold to scale your team. The Dog doesn't pop as fast, but if you can level it early, it will become a monster.

Because there are also pets with sell and buy abilities

Honestly the lobsters kinda popped off; +4 +4 on any animal you buy is really good

But I guess two cans is better because it costs less than a level 2 lobster and doesn’t take up a slot
