@Kharma Medic Nice Video clip! Excuse me for the intrusion, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you considered - Foolijaar Straightforward Finder (just google it)? It is a good one of a kind guide for mastering human anatomy and physiology minus the headache. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my friend Sam at last got amazing results with it.

I love your vídeos and please do one on the notability app because your notes look amazing! Also I was just wondering if your eyes ever got tired from studying only on screens? I get tired eyes after spending too long on my computer so i was wondering if an iPad was not as harsh

Thank you Alice and Ill make a video on that! That's a great question! The truth is after about 2 weeks of staring at my iPad screen all day while studying I did start to notice it. But I wasn't using truetone or any apps that might help alleviate that (I prefer the natural display colours). It does happen after a long time but I don't think it's a big enough reason not to get it!

Hi there! I'm a med student and need something really helpful, I was thinking to buy an iPad Pro but I don't know if it's better a Macbook Air instead of an iPad Pro, what would you recommend me toy buy? I'm not really familiarized with these devices so It would be really helpful to have some advices before buying something that will not help me in my studying. Thanks!

considering buying the Ipad pro as a laptop replacement. Usually i use my laptop to read multiple PDF files, which i dont know if the Ipad able to do. is it possible with PDF apps like PDF expert?

Great video! Got a question- If I were to be prepping to go to med school , should I get the iPad/MacBook pro a year before entry to get used to taking notes with it? Would it mean I might have to buy a new iPad near the end of the course? How often do you upgrade your tech?

Hey! If you bought one of the new iPads at the beginning of med school you wouldn't need to upgrade it again. If you don't have a laptop I do think a laptop is still necessary to have for university. It's hard to do everything you need to do with just an iPad 🙂

Thank you Louise! For us in KCL we had a lot more anatomy in first year so I actually used it more then than now! It will always be useful throughout medicine so I'd say go for it! Just keep in mind you have to buy it on each device so choose the one where you think you'll use it the most and get it there 🙂

Thanks so much for answering! I saw that the app is discounted for the 1st year, so I was wondering whether to wait to buy it incase it wasn't as relevant in Stage 1, but you're absolutely right: it will be useful throughout my Medicine degree and beyond. I recently got my offer and can't wait to start at KCL! :D

I didn't because I know I would never want to type and proper documents on my iPad. I have my laptop for that and I just want to use the iPad as an electronic notebook. Depends on your usage / needs! Keep in mind it does get quite a bit heavier with the keyboard.

Hey Hasan, thank you! I absolutely think it's worth it. A tablet in my first and second degree absolutely revolutionized my studying life. If you are buying a tablet / iPad for the first time then the new iPad pro is the one to go for. If you already own an iPad the argument to upgrade is not as strong. If you can, I would highly recommend it 👊🏼

Does notability work when you have no signal and can’t connect to WiFi because GoodNotes doesn’t and the hospitals library WiFi doesn’t work and neither does the WiFi patients can use and it’s annoying two days last week I couldn’t access my notes :( 2 days of work to catch up on Great video

I have everything downloaded and it backs up when connected to the internet. So I can view all my notes when I'm offline. You should be able to as well? There might be a setting where you need to turn on offline storage

Absolutely everything that isn't taking notes / writing things down. I still do all my browsing, essay writing and researching on my macbook. MacOS is so much more superior for things like that!

@@samgurling2026 Not sure which one you are referring to as the 'budget' one. But if you are buying an iPad for the first time then I'd suggest getting the latest one as it will last you the longest into the future. If you are upgrading from a previous iPad model, it might be worth it to hold onto yours for a while.

Great video 👍🏻 . So basically you just listen in the lecture and then hand write it while going over the recorded lecture afterward.

I only listen to the lecture once. At that time I take the notes you see on notability. Since I want to take those good notes the first and only time, 90% of the time I listen to the lecture online so I can pause and play as much as I want.

Marginnote - highly recommended app! Reference all the ebooks you have, then clip the important sections from different books and gather the clips to a single reviewer for that particular topic, you can export it to a pdf :) pick a topic > search and clip from different reference books > collate to a single page as your reviewer. You can also map your reviewer where the source reference came from :)

Rhianna Grace I am currently using iPad Pro 11 inch, and after using it for a month I actually want the 12.9 inch. If u use split screen and multitasking often I really suggest u go with the 12.9. I am a girl and 12.9 isn’t that big for me. I am switching to 12.9 soon.
