@@Wangpingping67 I just watch Bald n Bankrupt and Small Brained American visiting your country lndia, it's like Hell on Earth, you should fokus on your country not jealous on China
Yangshuo is heaven on earth indeed especially cruising down Li River! So serene and peaceful! Been there three times and hopefully again in the near future!
Another awesome video. Love the landscapes of Yangshuo. Watching you both taking an alpaca for a walk is just mind-blowing! Only in China 😂😂😂😂 Love it!!!
In China, especially in rural areas, older people tend to speak loudly, as communication in their younger days largely relied on shouting due to the lack of good communication facilities. I understand that this volume might feel quite overwhelming to you, but there's no need to worry; they don't mean any harm. The volume you hear is just their normal speaking level. As a Chinese person, I often marvel at the energy of elderly people, who exhibit incredible fighting spirit akin to that of Super Saiyans when it comes to rushing to grab deals at supermarkets. I hope I can stay as healthy as they are when I'm old.🤣 The main two things they initiate conversations with you about are: do you need a ride to explore the area? And, would you like to eat? Besides these, I don't think they would actively engage in conversation with you.
Remember I recommend you to visit Yangshuo and you took part of my suggestions. hope you won't regret it. lol. it looks like a traditional Chinese art painting. BTW the old lady who speak english suggest you to rent the e-bike (the last time I did in Yangshuo was in 2019, the cost is 30 yuan/day, it's very affordable). you can go to more places with the scooter,e.g., ten miles gallery(十里画廊),the huge banyan tree(大榕树),moon mountain(月亮山)。 if you don't use drone, you should at least climb one of the mountain, then from the top you can see the overal picture of Yangshuo, the scenery will be mind-blowing and amazing. lots of photographers from all over the world came to Yangshuo just for taking the breath-taking photo from the top. the most closed mountain is in Xingping ancient town called "Laozhai hill"老寨山, you just need spend 30 mins to the top.
As a native of Guilin, I hate the weather that is either raining or about to rain all year round. This gray air is not caused by air pollution, but by high air humidity. In fact, sometimes because the humidity is so high, you can see condensation forming on windows and walls, and even on the ceiling.
You two can also order one bowl of rice to share or two (兩碗白飯 Liǎng wǎn Bái fàn means two bowls of rice ) to match your salty dishes, that is Chinese used to eat in that way.
WoW!Nuts, guys,Nuts!I saw couples walking dogs,it's my first time to see couples walking Alpaca, first time!the motel and the scene are outstanding! Enjoy, guys!😎
Alpaca is in the camel family. the top is Vicuna, it's wool is worth its weight in gold, then Alpaca, and Llama. i had grilled alpaca by chance. i walked passed a vendor in the Peruvian Highlands and i asked what it is, it was lean quite tasty.
Actually, China has literally thousand of years of experience with vegetarian foods through Buddhism and meats were traditionally not that commonly available (except during the New Year or weddings etc) among the masses in many regions due to geography or poverty. In fact, even among urban dwellers who are not 'casual' Buddhists, quite a few of them would observe being vegetarian on the first and fifteenth day of the Lunar calendar every month. But I reckon that commercially, it is a bigger challenge to find wholly vegetarian restaurants due to rising prosperity and spending power which tend to favour the meats and more exotic dishes.
Wow , I do have to admit nice greenery and not too touristy ( least for the moment ). You guys are really enjoying the time of your life in China. And as always, The locals in China just love taking photos with foreigners.... haha!... Gotcha!! Didn't know your hotel had a cute alpaca which you can take it out for a walk like a pet. Remember to drink more of the local beer ,ehh!.. Cheers mates!
There was a typhoon passing through Vietnam a few weeks ago. If you were in southern China back then, perhaps that's the reason for the grey sky. Southern China does have quite a few storms passing through.
In China, the portion sizes of southern dishes are relatively small. In contrast, northern dishes have larger portion sizes. In some smaller cities, ordering just one dish can make you full.😂
9:48 that waitress was asking if you need chilli,if you like chilli, you could just tell them to put chilli into the food while they cooking it. Actually the local food is quite spicy, not all the people can handle it, especially most foreigners. So if you don't tell them in advance, they probably won't give you spicy. Trying to tell them you need more spicy, which in Chinese is "Jia la". Hope this helps and enjoy your tour.😊
love from Selangor Malaysia love will lead both of you home to us Malaysia... Malaysia always welcome both of you ...knowing that you can always treat here as your home
Yangsuo has picturesque scenery! You can find desktop background images everywhere! We definitely will see that more and more foreign tourists are about to flock in Yangshuo after they watch this video❤❤
Nice video! Not many RU-vidrs make videos about Yangshuo so it’s great to see your video. Bamboo rafting is definitely the best way to enjoy the beautiful views there!
Wow! I didn’t know that tourists can take the Alpaca for a walk. That’s amazing. I’ve been to Yangshuo 2 times and for me it’s one of the best sceneries in China. You guys at least have some sun, for me on 2 occasions it was raining all day. 😂Anyway, hope you guys are having a great time there. Can’t wait to watch your next one. Take care! Cheers!
Since Chinese home cooking is similar everywhere, the main difference lies in the types of vegetables and the difference in taste. The specialties of each place can also be found in other places, but they will not be very authentic.
The job of the ladies at the entrance of restaurants in shopping malls and scenic spots is to welcome guests. They need to solicit customers to dine in the shops. They mean to invite you to eat. Usually, we just say thank you and walk away
Is Yangshuo considered a "small" town in China? Yet I see a big nice Huawei shop there. Yangshuo will definitely be on my bucket list. By the way, I like your video quality. Thank you for sharing.
China would consider it a small town, but by our standards its huge!! China is full of surprises like that! Thanks mate - love to see these comments - hope you can make it to Yangshuo someday!
桂林山水甲天下 陽朔山水甲桂林 Above is the traditional Chinese saying praising the beauty you have experienced. The first sentence says that the Guilin scenery is the best in China. The second sentence says that the Yangshuo scenery is the best in Guilin. As a Chinese person, I have been to Vietnam Hạ Long Bay, but I have never been to Guilin. We called Hạ Long Bay Guilin on the sea (Vietnamese might disagree)! Guilin is on my bucket list, and I wish to cross it off sooner rather than later. Thanks for sharing this video.
While you are at it,you might as well try out the (in)famous Guangxi dish----LIUZHOU RIVER SNAILS RICE NOODLE ,the stock is made of snails, but I’m sure there’s vegetarian version as well
At the beginning of the video, there is a guy yelling out of the screen. He says in the local dialect something like, "Look, here comes a really beautiful Hello. 'Hello' means foreigners in Yangshuo. Yes, that guy is wise enough. Julia is so stunning!"
Fresh Deep fried Peanuts with chill this combo very very rare,(Original, with salt, with salt and sichuan pepper)(but you can get it in many supermarkets as bag of snack),there’s also a night show in yangshou if you like you can go have a look(Impression Liu Sanjie),and the local oranges are very good(must local ones)
Talking about good weather, Yunnan is the choice place. It has the perfect altitude, not too high to feel comfortable, but enough high to always have an ultra blue sky.
you guys checked in some room so luxurious, even US 5 star hotel can't compare, and charging 10 times the price more than China lol Again and Again, I found lots of Chinese like to talk to foreigners in Chinese, what do they expect? Anyway, hope foreigners can learn Chinese more haha
Joey, you're right on it there. The price is amazing for what you get - but saying that in China you need to make sure you're getting what you booked! Haha - we've seen some room switches since we've been here.
Julia is the boss ,choose the right place.hahaha 😄enjoy your time in Yangshuo.you can find some veggie buffet in the town,13yuan per one person.if you want some chili or more spicy, you can say lajiao, lajiao.hahah 😂
Going west from Guangxi Province leads to Guizhou Province, and further west leads to Yunnan Province. These three provinces have a slightly underdeveloped economy, but they have preserved many customs and traditions that have not been polluted by modern industry.
next time when you film, try to get a pair of bluetooth earphone pair with your camera/phone and ware one on each of u. So we can hear both of u clearly.
