What's the BEST beginner Bike?!

I got a grom as my first bike for about 2 months. I think it really helped realizing how easy it is to lose control or misjudge a turn or corner, hadn’t had any crashes or anything but you can give yourself a mini heart attack when you realize you might have overshot a turn or something. I got a ninja 400 after that, completely different riding style. Ask yourself do you wanna go far and explore different areas or do you wanna stay in the area and explore neighborhoods and backroads. I miss the grom but I think I’m happier with my ninja so that I can explore further places without people being on my ass the whole time on a backroad or something . If I could have a second bike/garage i would def love a grom or a dual sport. One thing to keep in mind is that if your on a grom everyone will want to pass you because they judge how slow it looks. Can’t say anything about a 600 but the 400 is good enough power for me.(not a highway person). Just some things to keep in mind.

There are so many people out there on bikes, you are just one of the best. It’s really yourself if you think about it.

Really like the MT 03. Rode one at IMS and was completely sold although I haven riding for six years. R7 is amazing if you are into sport bikes.

Having never been on a bike before, I learned to ride on a 2000 Kawasaki ZX12R lmao. I currently ride a 2007 Suzuki Bandit 1250s

I'm just glad you didn't say the Grom was the best beginner bike, because it really isn't. I thought it was at first, because the Z125 was my first bike .. but after 5 years of riding, I've made a full 180 on that opinion. It's too slow and too small to be safe for new riders who are still focused on learning the controls. I will say this too though: "What's the best beginner bike?" is the wrong question for new riders to ask. The right question is "What will be the best beginner bike for me?" .. because there are a lot of GREAT options that aren't strictly street bikes. You say the R3 is the best beginner bike, whereas I say the KLX 300/CRF 300L are the best beginner bikes. Neither of us are wrong, but there's even more options than that. Honda Rebel 300, Kawasaki Ninja 400, Yamaha TW200, and even DRZ 400. Just to name a few. The most important question to be answered is: "Where are you going to ride it?" I sold my Ninja 400 for a KLX 250 and couldn't be happier with that decision. Simply because it's more suitable for the terrain where I live.

If im being honest id say i got hooked on ur channel with the group rides with jar jar Brendan and his gf cause that content was gold. Then id say i stuck around because of the work uve put in and seeing u grind through ur life hurdles. Ive also had an urge to buy a bike but cant ever pull the trigger especially since idk what bike id wanna buy

I have been working at a motorcycle dealership for almost one year. Finally just bought my first bike after riding many. Fell in love with the mt07 and found a great deal on a 2018. Absolutely love it and have already made it mine. It's a very easy bike to handle.

Anyone who wants to getting into riding, just wait until next year for the new CBR400RR to drop. Its a small displacement inline 4 with that typical sport bike sound

Some people looking to get into riding might not realize too that 300/400cc bikes tend to keep their value and you can typically resell them for the same price you bought it. I actually made $300 on my R3 because I bought it last year for a good deal and when I sold it bike prices in California had increased. The KBB value of a 2015 R3 increased by $500 in one year

Question for you or anyone who’s willing to shine wisdom on me, I’ve rode dirt bikes when I was younger and yes I know that getting on the road and riding with traffic on a bike is wayyy different, but I wanted to see if that experience from a dirt bike would translate even just a little over to a motorcycle? Obv going from dirt to asphalt is gonna be different. But yk.
