I keep mine to 65 for over a year since the meta has always been focused on mid to long range engagements (type 25, m13, holger, cbr and more ) + I have eye problems so it's wayyyyyyy easier to see enemies on low fov 51 fov is way too much 90 fov is also way too much, enemies look like ants 65-80 seems to be the perfect balance. @@siestaaaa8607 for some people yes but you have to understand new people coming into the game may not understand what it is yes it may be common sense but he goes into greater detail and explains why not just oh use 75 fov it’s beast mode
I tried playing with 60, 65, 70, 75 and I found that 90 is best for me. I like seeing everything around me, tho enemies from afar may be hard to see, you can compensate by slide peeking every angle.
For me i choose 60 FOV. It will look slow, but i can see the enemy closer and better, specialy when sniping. But if im using rifles, smg, lmg, etc, ill use max FOV for Aggresive play.
I really like 90 fov because I can aware the enemies in my side and quick moving..So sad, I can't play codm anymore just like I used too because of my potato device..
At the end of the day, the decision is still up to us. We are responsible for our own settings. Even till this day, I'm still a 2 fingers player. It's what I'm comfortable with.
I knew Kith would eventually cover this and thanks since I had no idea what fov was and never touched it but now I am going to adjust it to suit my playstyle 😊😊😊
Back when codm launched, i copied all of fergs settings, i have always had trouble in long range engagements and now i realise its because i have been playing on 90 fov all my life. just tuned it down to 71 and it feels like i am playing on touch controls for the first time.
@UzzyG677 75-90 depending on ur style if aggressive, use 80-90 if passive then use 75. I say this bc when ur aggressive u will have wider fov and it would be helpful in close range fights. With the passive you have decent fov cuz ur not rushing and enemies/ target will be close & bigger and easier to hit!
Kith If I use max fov in longer distance or far away enemy it's blurry Btw my game will lag so some times I play with max fov and I use sometimes 60 fov 100fov To not be lag😂
since I'm early @Kith can you make an video about game-decision skill, on how to improve. Literally if Bad decision making was a sport maybe I am the god of it. For example I know the enemy was in my back but I didn't do anything until I get killed I just realized how bad I am, maybe am scared? I dunno

I don't have a good eye vision so i can't see things from far away so keep my settings around 60-70. I'm more of an SMG guy and this settings is what i'm most comfortable with.
FOV have an effect on smoothness of the game.the higher the fov,the smoother screen rotation is..70 fov is smoother than 65 or less fov..but the problem of high fov is it is hard to see enemy in far distance..i'm talking BR mode
Interesting, I thought it’s vice versa since you get maximum fps on lower fov due to lower processing load on ur device. I had overheating issues so I lowered the fov from 90 to 75, I guess overheating issue is less present now but to your point I feel more screen stuttering when doing crazy movements.

Important note: depending what camera fov you have it effects the ads look of different guns Like smgs have smaller space to look at than ars so you might have to adjust your ADS Sens ONLY depending what your favorite gun is
Am in Nigeria and playing on 75ms against eu players on 25ms in ranked is just depressing 😪. In my opinion, I play at least decent but playing against eu players make me feel really bad. Do I really suck at the game? This is another of my comment asking kith to make a video on how ms differences affects gameplay 😭😭😭💔

Imo everything over 80 isnt effective at all if you play on phone, iPad doesn't matter anyways. As an iPad player, when I switched to phone in November 2021 I have to admit starting at 65 is perfect but give a lack of speed in the game. I used shotguns primarily and would say on lower fov its way easier to play cqb then with a higher fov. Currently I run 71 fov tho bcs I play more ars and smgs now
You may need to change your standard(hipfire) sensitivity when changing fov since enemies may appear nearer(for high fov) or farther(for low fov) from the center of your screen.
i used 51 fov for a long time with fov sync when i started because spotting people was hard, then i became sniper main and had difficulty with close range so i copied reading cactus to 90 fov and turns out i know all angles people can peek already so i don't have to wait to "spot" them i just pre-ads

What is the difference between flexible, aggressive and passive players? I don't know much about it. As passive aggressive and flexible player are looking same and fast shooting and movement. Please reply..but I am still pro player and play with 4 claws
