Honestly, the only UCS sets I’m interested in are the capitol ships like the Star destroyers and Venator. I think some of your picks were ok, but I would have picked differently. I might be blinded by being a kid back then, but the ARC Troopers Vs Commando Droids BP is my favorite 2012 set.
To each his own. I think I've just recently really gotten into a UCS Star Wars set kick so my eyes are always drawn to those sets as opposed to other great releases from the respective years. I definitely regret including the UCS sets looking back though as they are kind of in a league of their own and it isn't really the most fair comparison at the end of the day when you compare it to the regular sets. Maybe I'll do a new list excluding UCS sets and see how much my list changes lol. Thank you for watching!!
There honestly isn't a lot to rank for 2024 rn though lol... It definitely isn't perfect but yeah I love that they went with a new ship to the LEGO Star Wars theme at the end of the day :)
honestly L opinions... lame picks with almost only UCS picks. What about set 8014? And in general more battlepacks which were in some years the greatest sets. You only picked expensive sets which are just big. Even Set 7672 didnt make the cut. Just sad to see a LEGO fan only take the common picks and not the real OG ones with personality. Still, thank for the video I enjoyed watching it.
Thank you for watching and thanks for the comment! I appreciate the honesty lol. I guess we just value different things in Star Wars sets which is more than ok. For me I just really love the detail and scale of the UCS sets over any battlepack. The battle packs are great and I love the minifigures in them, but I feel like I prefer better display sets as opposed to army builders so to each his own. If I were to remake the video though I definitely would exclude the UCS sets as looking back at what people are saying they do kind of dominate the list and honestly it isn't fair to compare them to the other sets as there is just so many more pieces and effort put into them and it makes other great sets from those years slip under the radar which they definitely shouldn't.
This isnt really fair of a pick your fav... about 75% of your picks were UCS sets lol.. wouldv been more fair if you seperated the categories more...Mainline , Masterbuilder , Ucs... otherw8se , offcourse the Masterbuikder and UCS sets will allmost allways win lol.
True lol.... It isn't really fair to compare like a $20 Star Wars set to a huge UCS set. Still fun to rank them at the end of the day but there is definitely a huge disadvantage between the sets.
