The problem I have with this video isn’t the video itself - it’s very informative. It’s more that AH will definitely see this as a need to nerf things again to break up new metas. They don’t understand that the reason meta exists is because they themselves create it through nerfing meta. There will always be meta. You want variety, make the rest better to give people more viable playstyles.
My personal loadout: Primary: Blitzer for bugs, Sickle for Bots Secondary: Grenade Pistol Grenade: Stun Slot 1: Quasar Cannon Slot 2: Guard Dog Rover for bugs, Shield Generator Pack for bots Slot 3: Orbital Precision Strike Slot 4: Orbital Airburst Strike Quick cooldowns on orbital strategems that are quick to input, very low to no risk of running out of ammo, & you have a solution for any problems. You are best in a support role giving covering fire when a fellow helldiver needs to reload or covering the rear moving between objectives.
@@Razie1201 Blitzer is about to get better with the update. It already has a good stagger, but reportedly it will now stun as well, & the same goes for the Arc Thrower. Wonder if it will apply to the Tesla Tower?
I personally love the Medium and Heavy MGs for both factions. Medium for bugs and heavy for bots. Supply pack, stun grenades, precision strike and 500kg. Do not underestimate crowd control loadouts. There were plenty of times I’ve had to cover my teammates while they were reloading or get them out of a bind with just sustained fire. Especially against bugs. Shoot till’ it’s empty! Edit: The Breaker Spray & Pray is *very* underrated. Sometimes just holding the trigger is what you need to do. You have 8 26 round drums to work with. Go nuts. You can even kill Chargers with it provided you have stuns.
I love the MG and HMG but with the new buff to chargers I saw that I could no longer penetrate their legs with them and no longer became I reliable option. I don’t know everyone else’s experiences but I tried them on 8 different chargers and nope the guns just bounce off the leg armor now. This sucked the fun out of it for me and I uninstalled it to make room for better games
@@BrockWittmayer dont fire at the armor. a spray with the HMG on their ass works perfectly fine. armor stripping was an unintended meta that only worked in the first few months
For bots I usually run the 500kg, autocannon turrent, then heavy MG and ammo backpack. Then crossbow to kill buildings and striders fast and then revolver for when I don't have anything else loaded. It's been working pretty good so far!
Arrowhead should stop nerfing weapons constantly. Thats one of the few reasons wich made me quit the game. They release a few new weapons only to nerf them into the ground a few weeks later, making them pretty much useless.
Salamanders over here. You know im going to see the world burn. i just hope they change the skin color of the salamanders to black with red eyes. A white salamander looks so uncanny to me.
IMO the orbital gas strike is seriously underrated. Short recovery and deployment times, fantastic area denial and chaff clearing capabilities. Just toss it directly onto bug breaches or hordes and, voila! That area is now chaff-free!
I think the grenade launcher is now legit against bots as well now that you can see the hit marker. It wrecks the new striders and if you have a supply pack with you and a scorcher to handle gunships you’re golden. You may also bring a commando along so you can have anti-tank capability and be able to better assault the new automaton fortresses.
This is the vid ive been waiting for phase! I've been seeing a lot of these loadouts at higher levels. Railgun + pummeler + riot shield has become a personal fav against bots right now

@@achmahnsch CS Diligence is amazinig vs Bots, and if you take certain support weapons you can use it vs bugs, like the stalwart. AMR is great on both fronts.

With the new ship modules I really fancy the good ol' EAT cause it's now even easier to use as an precision kill-pod against chargers and especially vs bile titans!!!
For bugs.. - AR 61 Tenderizer or Breaker Incen, Grenade Pistol, Impact Grenades - 120mm Orbital, Eagle Airstrike, Precision Orbital Strike, Spear Been my go to loadout on level 9 and now 10 with the recent update if I want to play more "seriously" and haven't been disappointed. The last few days though I've been trying out different combinations to help keep the game feeling fresh. Really hoping whatever major update is next adds some kind of long term progression since i dont really have a reason to play other than grinding for max level, everything for me is fully upgraded and completed
Idk if im the only one, but i have unironically started to use amr against bugs. I know its not as good as autocannon, but it does surprisingly well against medium bugs. If you roll the guardian commander enemies it's soo satisfying
The AMR is a beast against bots already I just wish they'd add a 3rd person cross hair, then I'd use it against bugs too. I know it is accurate in 3rd person but I'm not good without the reticle, I end up wasting too many shots
@@damienmcdonald7610 oddly enough I was running AMR on bugs last couple of days. Dif7 predominantly since my friends couldn't play the same hours I did, but I had a lot of success with it in combination with supply backpack and cookout. It shreds medium bugs. I found myself not needing it in the end since I quickly got used to cross hairless shooting from 3rd person,but I remembered from playing kingdom come deliverence, there are free programs on the net that allow you to place a small white dot in a middle of your screen.
After getting spammed with so many Helldivers controversy videos. It's nice to see videos that help players survive in game. I am struggling to get beyond Diff 6 and this build video is exactly what I need.

I’ve been running the dominator with the hmg or auto cannon with either Gatling and eagle or an auto cannon sentry and a rocket sentry, I got over 75 kills standing between the two sentry’s on a breach it was epic, pop a few stuns and watch the carnage unfold
Personal reccomendation for weapons and stratagems (primary, secondary, support and greanades) for bots and bugs Bugs: Primary- Eruptor, Secondary- Crisper, Support- Machine Gun (the most basic) Use the eruptor as Nursing/bile/commander slayer, also for closing bugholes, crisper works extremely well for spraying down 2 mags on bug breach and unleashing hell with your actual primary, the MG, and stun nade (charger stunning) Stratagems: I love to take shield BP for more survivability, especially when getting up close with cripser and realoading the MG, also stalker-deny. Railcannon and precision are a must IMO, the BP can be changed for something else, just my preference, but if i were to swap it, it'd probably be the airstrike. Bots: Primary- Diligence Counter Sniper, Secondary- Grenade pistol, Support- Commando, and stun nade (hulk stunning) Diligence is always my first choice, cuz of high dmg, pen and precision, making fighting devastators a breeze (struggling vs berserkes, but if you can 1shot devastators its worth it imho), grenade pistol for a quick ,,fuck off striders'' and if you need to destroy the last fabricator, and commando is great vs everything except gunships (hard to destroy 2 at once), but until the fabricator ,,bug'' is nerfed use it to destroy whole outposts from far away. Stratagems: Airstrike (a must have), Gas strike, and jumppack. You can change gas for something else, same as jumppack, but i personally like these, gas is extremely good to throw underneath an incoming drop, also can take down detector towers, while jumppack is just great utility on bots, if i were to swap them: gaas for 380mm, jumppack for 500kg for factory striders If anybody got questions about some changes let me know, i'd be happy to help
For my new loadout I really cant decide between vanguard sword and shield or assault with thunder hammer. For now though I think I'm gonna go with a PvP build on bot missions. Riot shield, defender, and shield generator relay.

Im not going to lie, im glad to see some positivity around the new additions. So many people seem so angry how new enemies and difficulty make the game harder... Like, that's the point, if you find it too difficult no one makes you play the difficulty you are. There are 10 difficulties so you can find something ideal for yourself not for you to feel bad beating your head against t10 if you don't find it enjoyable.
Regressing from solo level 7 to down to level 4 just to be able to barely play a build you enjoy is not fun dude. 400hrs into the game, and I’m usually the highest scoring guy on any team. Who are they making this game for??
I don't find the previous difficulties any more difficult, diff 10 is harder as it should be most people's problem is with the flamethrower change which I do get. Hopefully they change it in another way to make it fun again and don't reduce the ability of any of the other good stuff.

My personal favorite is used orbital laser strike that hits heavy targets the Eagle 500 KG bomb eagle airstrike and for my support weapon. Use the spear.
I think a good loadout (the one I go for in bug missions) is the eruptor for alpha commanders and such, the crisper for hordes, the stuns to keep enemies in place when taking out weak points, and the spear to take out heavy armored enemies. because I use stun grenades I use eruptor for taking out bug holes. this also works for automatons, but you should usually swap out the crisper for a weapon of your liking instead. STUN GRENADE TIP! if your gonna use a stratagem and throw it into a crowd, throw the stratagem, then the stun grenade without moving your camera. this will keep the enemies in one spot so they get hit with it!
Kinda surprised there's nothing about lasers that got ninja buffed. All lasers now cause burning in enemies and together with laser drone a laser loadout creates a pretty insane moving machine.
For bots I never thought I’d see the day but the rail cannon is back once again! They buffed it a long time ago that would give the unsafe mode more time to fire and being able to take out patrol ships makes it a beast against most enemies My loadout is as follows Sickle or Tenderizer Grenade Pistol Rail Gun Supply Pack
I am concerned about the ammo backpack being changed in the future. Datamniners have found a backpack that distributes Stims. Why would that be needed when the current backpack offers ammo and stims? Are they going to divide it so one packpack has ammo and another offers stims? Considering recent balancing, I fear that may be the case.
I feel like what the developers aren’t getting, is that some people get the most enjoyment and FUN out of killing bots and bugs as efficiently as possible. They should give us a variety of “META”-like tactics instead of taking them away.
I use the scout armor (tan and green, forgor the name) paired with breaker incendiary + senator (i don’t have the grenade pistol yet) + incendiary grenades, and for stratagems, I run railcannon, napalm/orb gas, Shield generator and Railgun on unsafe
I can't believe you left out the laser cannon for bugs. It kills alphas and spewers quickly without taking up a backpack slot. It can even take out chargers due to the new flame dot effect. Its unlimited ammo makes it possible to still use the breaker incendiary. It's incredibly underrated and is the clear mvp for cold planets.
my go-to for 10 is autocannon, gatling, OPS, and 500. AC handles alpha commanders super well and also demolishes spewers if there are any (ew), gatling has such a low cooldown i can toss it at any and every bug breach, and OPS+500 just handles any thing AC and the breaker can't

Against bugs I run the spear, ops, napalm strike, and 120 barrage. I’ve figured out how to get consistent 1 shot kills with the spear so I’ve been loving it
@@spitleiden relies on the enemy facing you. chargers need to be 30+ meters away and facing you, aim down as far as possible without breaking lock. Bile titans should be a similar distance from you and facing you directly, then you want to aim as far up as possible without breaking lock. generally the bile titan facing you will ensure a one shot but they are very unpredictable and they turn around a lot
I've been enjoying the medium MG vs bugs more than the hmg these days. It's not 'quite' as powerful as hmg and it loses utility, but because I have metric tons more ammo, I can happily take a shieldpack instead of supply pack and something like plasma punisher vs bugs as well since it can deal with chargers and titans fairly well.
I feel like the plasma punisher could still use a little bit more punch. It seems like it takes too many shots to destroy enemies. I still run it sometimes though.
@@PhaseShifter all they have to do is fix the bugs, the crydivers took those nerfs waaaaay out of proportion. Yesterday did 3 missions with my crydiver friend and two randoms and finished them all.
@@Mobius-GS1 I feel like the incendiary shotgun didnt need the nerf but its all fine with it, the flamethrower should AP but it should just take a little longer to kill chargers and behemoths
@@lukemehalick370 no not at all, that's very hyperbolic. They've dropped the ball massively and you're absolutely right, they're losing players rapidly because of it. They've made some horrendous decisions which make no sense. I am hopeful that they will turn it around. By the looks of it from the new post it's gunna be quite a wait though which is concerning 😟
Jar 5 dominator, grande pistol, stun grande, democracy protects armor. Eagle airstrike, orbital barrage, commando, Finally for bugs machine gun turret for bots rocket turret. I hate having to back track for dropped gear! 😂
You just gave me an idea. What if the flamethrower and laser cannon support weapons came with backpacks that would act as additional/endless fuel and a heatsink type thing to extend the duration of the laser?
It’s hard to have a “best load out” if 3 other players don’t bring the right equipment I like to storm bug holes so I bring a light armour with armour back pack which saves having other players dying trying to clear holes.
Enjoying the railgun but it still kind of sucks against gunships and I am finding double and even triple gunship fabricators to be a common occurrence. Still feels like anything other than the AC is trolling with the AMR being a distant second.
I’ve been running cookout and autocannon. Anything my cookout can’t kill the autocannon can. I used to run the recoilless rifle but the new charger behemoth and impaler make it useless. Who would have thought that nerfing everything would make something untouched the best weapon
don't understand all the negativity from part of the community. I am having lots of fun with this patch. Lots of different builds and stratagems to play with.
@@jdotswift8279 of course I don't mind, and I get why you ask :) It depends on the build I want to use, but minimum 7. With meta builds I can play on 9 (with a balanced group of good players, as I can pull my weight but I'm not so good that I can carry at level 9 to be honest). Of course it is a problem that at the highest difficulties I am forced to use a couple of meta builds to succeed. But then, if I have suboptimal builds, I lower the difficulty to 7-8, and the overall challenge (and therefore enjoyment) remains the same. And in general, I fully agree with the criticism of those silly nerfs, but I don't agree with the negative, pessimistic, angry tones that are used. They end up overshadowing the many positives and the fact that it is still a good fun game.
@@Rippone I completely get you and I understand why you'd look at the negativity the way you do. I believe it stems from the devs saying they'll do better, and they won't do heavy handed nerfs, but they do them anyway whilst also buffing the enemies. The way they balance things is okay on the lower end but on the higher end, it's extremely problematic.
@@jdotswift8279 I agree with ya. The game still is fun to me and I still come back to play from time to time. But seeing the nerfs come again just gets really demoralizing while they keep buffing and adding enemies.
Not for something, but by taking the commando you nerf your own supply pack. I like the commando, but if I'm taking the supply pack, I'm bring nade launcher or rail gun. Synergy.
I used to solo level 7, now I struggle with level 4. Arrowhead has discovered the opposite of power creep. I hate the autocannon. Starting to hate HD2.
I'm going to take the auto-canon for every single game from now on. It can destroy objectives, nests and kill literally every mob thrown at us in the game. "Perfectly balanced".
No such thing as a best weapon loadout. I can run no weapon and all turrets for 700 kills or I can run HMG + SP for the same kills, 3 orbital barrages and Orb strike is a new favourite or a generic orb gas, orb strike, orb scatter and 500kg build is somewhat effective too, another new favourite of mine is all eagles which has proven to be OP Maybe I should make videos to show everyone how simple it is to use anything and everything effectively
Disregard all metas Just roleplay You a jungle commando? MGs and flamethrowers You a Paladin like me? Turrets and relay shield or ballistic shield You a pyromaniac? Full fire loadout You an Enforcer? Personal shield and shotgun You a scout sniper? AMR, DMR You Anti Tank? Every explosive rocket launcher You anti air? EAT and Autocannon
It's decent, but as soon as you get to 7+, so many enemies can survive a cluster bomb, but not an eagle airstrike, or a 500kg. I find taking 500kg or air strike and a quick refreshing crowd control orbital works better than cluster. Kills fewer squad mates as well 🙂 Anything the cluster bomb can consistently kill can be done with primary/secondary/nades, allowing you to use that slot for harder hitting stratagems. The 120 mm barrage amazes me every time I bring it.
@@lukemehalick370 true, they still be having massive hunter swarms on difficulty 10 tho, or just any chaf swarm on a bug breach just spam cluster bomb on it I’ve gotten plenty 50+ kill streaks from doing that
