the brakes u mentioned are great options but in no relation, like the m200 is a low end 2 piston brake which is not bad but nothing compared to the mt7 pro, thats like comparing sr suntour to fox factory
Was würdest für mich empfehlen?
@@AlexanderZharko Hängt davon ab wie du fährst, fährst du relativ agressiv oder eher entspannter. Bei einem agressiveren fahren würde ich eine Saint empfehlen.
M200 doesn't belong to this list. Shimano XT and SLX are basically the same thing. Marginal difference. Ommision of brands such as TRP, HAYES, FORMULA is unforgivable.
hi, i have magura mt trail double piston brakes and i was using avid 180 hayes 203 as disc. I bought a shimano xtr rt mt 905 ice tech disc, but my brakes aren't holding the way they used to. Should I use organic or metallic? Which one do you think is not compatible?
Growing up riding with Maguras, I still have problems getting used to the Code´s spongy feel. They are powerful, yes, but the way the force is modulated is odd for me.
I got some Magura MT Trail Sport converted to 4pot all round with 4 separate pads and they are fantastic brakes , they stop my Trek Remedy 8 2020 in no time
I have them on my Pivot Firebird and i love them. Had Sram Code RSC and Shimano XTR and testet Magura MT 7 and Hope at my friends bike. Trickstuff is amazing
I disagree hard😅 Im on 8120`s now, ive bled and bled and bled, but i just cant get them as good as my old G2 ultimates. Sure they are very good, but i just cant feel the same power/bite in them as i did with the G2`s. Both with metal pads in dry conditions and with the brake rotors (new and same size) from shimano/sram XT ice/Centerline
Shimano in my opinion are more poppy compared to sram where sram is more spongy. Shimano levers in my opinion are very comfortable and effective for my small hands. Shimano saints and sram code rsc’s are also very great brakes for trail, enduro and downhill
After about 3 years the last Keurig stopped working ru-vid.comUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf initially was able to unblock, however eventually we couldn't fix. That one was a replacement unit sent by the manufacturer after we had problems with our very first Keurig. This works fine (lol, at least for now) however I didn't realize the water reservoir was so much smaller than our prior unit. With 2 people having one or two cups of coffee each morning, it seems like I'm refilling it daily. Otherwise just happy to have the convenience of pod coffee vs. making a morning pot.
Trying to decide between SRAM CODE RSC, G2 Ultimate or magura MT7 HC3. I ride hard and ride Enduro/DH Mostly but also ride Trail and FR all on my Enduro Bike. So I am looking to find the best brakes & make a one time buy. Sadly My Fav brakes the TRP EVO-DH-r, but I have a gift card to backcountry & competitive Cyclist for $500 and Can't get the TRP, so I need to make a decision asap. can anyone help me. my G2 R's that came on my bike are spongey and I don't like them. I need to upgrade. Help!
Get Hope tech 4 v 4 dual Best stopping power I’ve experienced. I ride all mountain and weigh 220lb so when I get moving I rely on stopping power and I like the Hope over sram and shimano
Sram codes are crap and hope are overpriced show pieces. Best brakes are Formula Cura. They use the 2 piston in downhill bikes but you can also get the 4 pistons.
Smh the first thing u get recommend is the CNC hydraulic MTB disk break set. Shows a picture of said break and it's a cable single piston break, which, from my experience working in a bike shop, are the worst breaks to be put on any bike would rather v brakes then those and they are not suitable for MTB 🤣 would still choose them over single piston cable breaks

cause this guy doesnt know what he is talking about. He just rumbles words like "quiet functionality" "easier acessibility" " remarkable durability". Dunno why I even clicked on the channel and even commented at that
Tickstuff is a prestige / boutique brake . most people that use them are pro sponsored riders or rich sport riders or poor people that get divorced when their wife finds out how much they cost .
@pickadviser brakes that work like grip shifters. Like twisting a throttle but connected to the brakes instead of gears. I have rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia, the brake lever hurts me more than any other operation of the bike. I feel like I wanna replace brake levers with grip actuated brakes. But who knows? Maybe it would be even more stress. I'm just brainstorm daydreaming. I ride an Ebike in city traffic to deliver food.
@@BadManWithAMadPlan For city riding, you could probably get away with the twist grip concept but, for more “spirited” riding (trail, enduro, downhill), not so much. In such disciplines, you generally always have at least your index finger always covering the brake lever for quicker access (quick stopping and brake assisted turns) and brake modulation. So, having twist grip brake actuation on rough or undulating terrain would generate twisting forces between the grips and palms while the bike reacts to the undulations under you which would result in inconsistent/unintentional brakeforce application.
these type of lists have become as meaningless as which is the best MTB or E MTB. the market is flooded with super high quality brakes and bikes to the extent that the greatest difference is usually in color choice.😂
Good catch! Trickstuff brakes are definitely worth mentioning in any brake discussion. Their precision and German engineering are top-notch. What's your take on Trickstuff brakes? Any specific model you think stands out? Let's keep the conversation rolling!
I can see you're passionate about your brakes! The power debate between XT and Hope Tech 4 is real. It's always interesting to hear different perspectives. What's your experience been like with Hope Tech 4? I'm curious to hear more about your thoughts on braking power!
