This man is speaking the damn truth, once again!!! he forgot to mention another reason why it’s best to go with white rice is due to the heavy level of arsenic found in rice, that’s why it’s best to buy rice from California, Thailand, Vietnam, or India, never buy rice that comes from the southern part of the United States they used to be cotton fields and cotton is very hard of a crop to destroy so they had a poor arsenic and it stays in the soil for hundreds of years.
To “help stop” Rice from transitioning to body fat (Rice - glucose ~ fat). Cook the Rice, cool refrigerate (or freeze) it for at least 12 hours then reheat the Rice. This cooling procedure changes (converts) the Rice to a much healthier “Resistant Starch” with less fat weight gain and less blood glucose spikes.
I lost 30 lbs eating jasmine rice with a protein patty (veggie burger/sausage) for breakfast every day for 8 months. I also cut down on white foods & eliminated processed foods & swapped raw honey for sugar in all recipes. The weight just dropped off me.
@@Seawave669 Raw honey is way better than refined sugar. There are different types of sugar. Jasmine rice is not a white rice. Go look a the info before you chime in.
@@PixieDusted72 you just said you swapped raw honey for sugar. And Jasmine rice is white rice. Furthermore, carbs are not essential for humans. Watch the documentary fat fiction on RU-vid. You will learn a lot.
1 cup rice = 2 cup water, pinch of salt in pot and turn HIGH as soon as water boils turn down to low 2-3 setting, put lid on but leave a lil crack so air can escape and leave it for the cooking time it needs. Perfect rice everytime and takes max 20min to cook. No rice cooker and no overcooked nasty rice.
@@smp5343 Literally have both parents as pro chefs and they have cooked rice more than you can count and I have learned from them and always used this method. Won't get burnt or undercooked. Unless you are using a very different rice species that is bigger/smaller than average white rice.
NO WAY!!! Red rice. This rice is the healthiest of all of the rice put together. Red rice is diabetic friendly and doesn’t spike your blood sugar. Red rice has many nutritional benefits. ❤❤You can find this rice in your local health food store.
@@mjg6233 Yes you can. They sell them in microwavable sizes of you can put a bag of rice in the microwave for about 10 minutes and 30 seconds I believe.
I lost weight eating brown rice, because it left me full enough not to snack. 44 carbs per cooked cup. I now eat cauliflower (ground up in a blender). 5 carbs per cup (net carbs are about half that). Squeezing the water out with a potato ricer makes it much drier and fluffier. Happy dieting!
Man you are so right. And that's always been my logic: we have to eat it with vegetables and protein...white rice all the way...easier to digest. I eat ir at all meals and I'm lean.
What do you mean nobody likes it? I freaking love brown rice. The flavor is nutty and earthy. Nowhere near cardboard. I would choose brown rice any day!
Question about the cleanses releasing toxins into the body from fat cells…I always figure the point of a cleanse was to release different toxins you have accumulated and might have stored in your fat cells over time (maybe eating fast food or processed food, etc.)? So when to you propose we allow this to happen? When the body is strong enough to deal with it?
I don’t think that’s how it works. Pairing it with the broccoli won’t make your body absorb the nutrients from the rice in a different way. White rice isnt made up of a lot of insoluble fiber which is why you absorb most of the carbs from it. konjac rice is best
I lost 100lbs of fat eating ricearoni and beef rips with soy sauce. Must have been the protein. But ricearoni has vermicelli mixed in whuch is a slower burning carbohydrate.
