Thanks for all your reviews. I've finally decided on the Ridge Stonewash Titanium after binge-watching lots of your minimalist wallet reviews. My husband has had sciatica issues and is constantly pulling his wallet up when he sits down. He needs to declutter and knowing he only needs a few cards with RIFD and a little cash I'm going to force him into the new age he forces me into with electronics. It will be the happy medium between his old wallet and our refusal to put everything on our smartphones. Appreciate your help and that of people who comment.

Am from the UK and I have been using the ridge wallet for over 5 years my first one was gunmetal Ali which I paid 50 quid for moved over to the carbon fiber one 2 years ago and been using that almost every day (yes tired other wallets like trayvax, dango etc) all good wallets in their own rights etc but for small carry ridge wallets are good I carry 3 cards and 20 quid in mines at any one time yes you can hold more but I carry my edc cards Id bank and travel and I have no problem with it 😊😊😊😊

Hello, I'm undecided about my purchase between the ridge forged ember and the titanium stonewashed, the forged ember and resistant to marks? I would also use it at work (countryside) so I would easily mark it, and for this reason I opted for stonewashed. Advice?

There are ppl who enjoy Hermès, Gucci, Goyard, Cartier & LV wallets. While those may be nice wallets I’m sure price point isn’t an issue for the ppl who buy & enjoy them. When it comes to me personally the most I’d ever spend for a wallet is probably two hundred bucks. So I could be in the % of consumer intended for ridge who knows. But what I do know is I love my Ridge wallet. Had the forged carbon for 2+yrs now & it might be time to finally invest in the Titanium Stonewashed or the Forged Ember. You kinda sold me on the forged ember lol. Great video thanks for the upload.

After watching this I was very compelled to get the stonewashed titanium Ridge. That's a good, rugged finish that should hold up well over time. I've also had the forged carbon version since last year & it still looks brand new, although I've been pretty careful not to beat it up too much. Forged ember looks best. I ordered a carbon fiber one. I didn't know the forged ember was more durable than the carbon fiber until i already ordered. It's all good though. I'm excited for the extra pocket space that will be available.

I like things that are simple and yet classic so my favourite colour for the ridge would be gun metal black or maybe gun metal green but ridge wallets are way to expensive in ordering to sort of test out the ridge experience I got a £15.00 knock off by vulkit that is very similar to ridge without all the extras and spare parts but may eventually upgrade to a rossom which is like around half the price of the ridge and nearly gives you everything that ridge does expect for the lifetime warranty which is mostly meaningless as wear and tear is not included and the most likely thing to break will be one or the peices of elastic but not for awhile if you look after it and not overstuff it which some idiots do

None of these wallets feel cheap. The carbon fiber is light, maybe that’s why people think it feels cheap and plasticky but I think it feels nice. Pretty much how carbon feels in general.

I have the forged carbon but I’ve been wanting to buy the amber forged carbon one. It’s always sold out. The Damascus one looks pretty good too and I’m thinking about buying that one as well. I never really liked metal wallets but I got a Telya ever since I’ve been using the ridge wallet I’ve never went back to anything else. I freaking love this damn thing. I will mention that I have seen videos here and there that offer comparisons between ridge wallets to something that costs much less. I haven't watched said videos, but I get the feeling they lean towards the cheaper ones. While I will say that "if it works for you, then go for it", I will also say I'm a believer in doing research and the saying "you get what you pay for". Ridge is up there, yes, but I enjoy the Carbon Fiber Ember I just got recently as a bit of an upgrade for the Aluminum one I have (will hand-me-down that to a friend), and I will stand by what I said above for any that want to get a Ridge. :)

I would like to see you do a review side by side comparison of both wallets from both companies and hear what your opinion is and if you would favor one maker over the other knowing your a big ridge fan.

Carbon will hide the scratches better than the titanium version. Unless you go with the brushed titanium. It’s very good at hiding scratches

How do you carry the wallet without getting it scratched? I carry my keys in my right front pocket and my phone in my left front pocket. If I put the ridge wallet in either of those pockets it's going to get scratched to all hell. If I put it in with my phone it'll probably tear my phone screen up. Any suggestions?

My advice to anyone considering a ridge wallet as someone who has used one for almost two years, opt for titanium or steel instead of aluminum. I love my wallet and have used it daily for the entire time I’ve had it, but aluminum is very malleable, and the entire wallet began curving outwards after maybe 6 months of using it, granted some days it is in my back pocket. It definitely takes away from how great it looks, currently waiting on my Damascus one now where this hopefully won’t be a problem.

Good advice. But I’d also advise to never carry this wallet in your back pocket. This should only be carried in your front pocket, otherwise the bending mentioned above could happen.

Got the Damascus on a Black Friday sale, but was disappointed to see that they went from a solid metal torx driver to a cheap plastic one

If I bought one or more (especially more) I'd have nothing to put in it because my bank account would be empty so there would be no point in carrying any cards.

You could buy the base model ones. They work just as well. Or if you’re on a budget, go to marshals and buy a $10 wallet like I used to do when I was broke 😭. It gets the job done well too

@@MrLazlness I like the wallets by Aviator better. Have you looked at those? Base model is around $70, there's a thin tray in 8t that slides out for keys, coins, whatever you want. Plus an elastic strap you pull up to get your cards out and you can fan them out to grab the one you want. Best design I've seen yet for this type of wallet.

Was a fan of the look and feel of the ridge but just never got used to how it functioned. Ended up moving to the stow now XSto. Unreal how great that wallet is.

well was looking for difference in material handling, card treatment and scratch resistances towards the wallet and cards. designs are subjective anyway, so got no more insights that I had before. thanks anyway, besides lack of use for me, I appreciate your video generally

The first video I ever found of yours was the one comparing the cheap knock off's to the original, on your advice I bought the knock off, enjoyed it for a little bit but didn't like the exposed cash holder, replaced it with the original stow wallet after seeing your review, then I got sick of folding cash into thirds, really want the znap wallet but it's not available out side of Europe so I just bought the speakeasy until the znap is available
