1.4.1 update: The new Princess villager only brings positivity wherever she goes. She loves up to 3 villagers living around her and is liked by all nearby villagers. This means the Princess can be used to increase villager happiness in any town. She can also be used as the third villager in the Glowing Mushroom biome when you follow the guide at 2:14 or drive.google.com/file/d/1RhEEtcc6JS66JNIE2JirawHz8UIqGM_X/
good sir, i dare say you have been the only person to give a direct answer to the npc happiness in 18 different videos which makes you the 19th video I've tried and it was completely dreadful trying to find one since i can't get the answers i need from my own world because i chose to play on an xbox... there is no "happiness" talk option when i talk to my npc's so finding someone like you on this app was my only option. again, thank you.
@@Yerdsteil i got frustrated because of the current state my 1.3 word was in and the precarious spots were. For example: my underground ice fishing spot is precisely in an exact spot, inches away from a hallowed ice underground and an underground corrupt ice biomb So i gave up and made like 30 teleporters to all the specific spots in my world lmao (Its end game late endgame so I'm good)
that's the happiest combo there is for all NPCs. Some of the NPCs that the Truffle likes dislike the Truffle, so to maximize everyone' s happiness collectively you have to put merchant and truffle together.
I'm having trouble with the pylons appearing In the shops. I have 5 areas set up for the NPCs but only 2 pylons appear, for the desert and the forest. I have made sure that there are only 2 or 3 in each area and that they are with people that they like and they are still not selling the pylons. Please help!
Make sure they aren't living with neighbors they dislike or hate, and that the towns aren't too close to each other. Each town should be at least 200 blocks from any other town. Also, make sure the NPC that's supposed to sell the pylon is living in a biome they like and has at least one neighbor they like or love. For more specific instructions for each NPC, I recommend looking at the living preferences of NPCs terraria.gamepedia.com/NPCs#Living_preferences
@@Yerdsteil Thank you so much! I realised that the problem was that I had the npcs in the right biomes and they weren't with people they disliked, but in order for them to sell a pylon, they had to be near someone they liked or loved, fixing the problem. It's weird because in my 1.4 playthrough last year, this wasnt an issue, so it must've been a change introduced with 1.4.1 when they redone the happiness system. Thanks for the help!
No, not that I know of. The requirements are that the NPC is happy and is not living in an evil biome. You can use the Happiness button while talking to an NPC to find reasons they are unhappy. Let me know if you still need help!
