Once, I went to camp and my brother, cousins, nephew and I all got the same cabin with this other kid who felt like the outsider, but we decided to not want him to feel left out so we included him in everything we did and he just became an honorary member of the family, and he meshed right in with all of us. Camp ends and we are saying our good byes as everyone is waiting for their parents to pick them up. His parents arrive and so do mine a few minutes later. They start talking saying things like "HI, how's it been, it's been so long, etc." Turns out that the kid we accepted as an honorary member of the family WAS a member of the family. A cousin that we never knew we had.
In regards to the last story, decades ago a relative was with her son at the grocery store in Canada. Ahead of them was a black man wearing a cowboy hat, having never seen anyone of that complexion before, the mother was concerned when her son’s eyes went wide, mouth open, finger pointed before he exclaimed: “Look mom! A cowboy!”

When I was in Sixth Grade, my parents wanted to get me an intelligence/IQ test or whatever. The principal, who we already hated for handling my bullying with the classic "Just Ignore Them And They'll Go Away" non-tactic, told them I was "Just Another Dumb Kid". My parents pushed, he relented, and I proceeded to get the highest score that tester had seen in my age group in her career. You can bet the principal was pissed, but it was sixth grade. I was leaving that year. My little sister, however, was in Kindergarten. Suddenly she almost fails first grade, she almost fails second grade, they say there's no help for her when they got me a speech pathologist when my two front teeth took three years to come in (different story), and when my live-in aunt volunteers, they make it a miserable experience for her. Third Grade, she's getting MY old third grade teacher, Mr. K. He was a wonderfully weird and memorable person. He turned 13 the year I had him (leap year baby). But by October, he's left the school. We see the writing on the wall and pull my sister out, move her to a new school, and BAM. A's and B's, no sign of trouble. So we assume K was transferred for refusing to lowball her grades. Here's the twist. Years later we run into Mr. K out in public and my parents get to chatting him up. K didn't leave for the reason we thought. Turns out the Principal was going through a long, messy divorce, and was taking his anger out on anyone who was happily married. K requested the transfer himself because he was tired of the Principal's pettiness towards other staffers like that, including himself, and knew nothing of any efforts to harm my sister academically. (We had proof of that still being true, but not the kind you could go to any authority with, so we just washed our hands of the whole thing.) Turns out the Principal already hated us, and me showing him up just gave him TWO "reasons" to mess with my sister. A$$hole.
I was 17ish, experiencing some emotional distress as many of us do, and my mum wanted me to see a psychologist. I opposed for months as I was adamant I didn't want "a headshrinker to get their nose into my business", but in the end my mum won and I went. Something life-changing definitely happened, as this is one of the stories I always tell my teenager patients, now that I'm a therapist myself.
I tried to say this in the video that mentioned the problem but I think I got drowned out: It might be possible to get someone to make a program to make constant reports of “abuse of guidelines” to RU-vid with that video being linked to it, since he also has the podcasts and they are in fact the same content (except for visuals) it would be clear that they are in fact false allegations. Another thing might be to raise the issue via means like a GoFundMe or going to the news. The news would be quite a bad but ultimately certain way to fix the problem as if the information about how it’s done gets out so many people will do it and cause RU-vid massive headaches and Revenue loss. If YT wants to fix it then they just need to add a requirement of sending a link to another video or adding a video file itself to the complaint itself. THEN if the issue starts getting bad like it has for him, then it could be looked at by someone after the 10 days even without the complainer, much like how US count works in that regard
brother was diagnosed with cancer when he was in college. he was told one treatent would likely rid the cancer for good but make him sterile. so him and his then girlfriend opted to get his stuff frozen so if whenever they got married and wanted kids. they could. treatment worked. cancer has been gone since. he did propose and they get married. fast forward some time they did all the work with the frozen stuff so they can have kids. they had my niece and nephew. they settled on that as they ran out and he was of course as doctors said "sterile". surprise surprise surprise....fate had other plans. she got pregnant with their third kid. yes kid looks like him
This is just like the story of my existence 😂 My dad was born with skin cancer and the doctors used radiation therapy for treatment. On a newborn. In the 60s. They burned him. His skin was so swollen everywhere, he couldn't urinate. His kidneys were shutting down, the doctors told my grandparents he wasn't going to make it and the priest was called. The priest gets done with the official ritual stuff and asks to hold the baby. While he's holding him and praying my dad starts peeing everywhere. He recovers (obviously, he's my dad lol). So because of that the doctors tell my grandparents 1) he'll be mentally disabled 2) his arm where the cancer was will not grow 3) he'll be sterile. My dad grows up his arm is 100% normal and his IIQ is genius level. Well my parents get married at 19 because they're childhood sweethearts been dating since 7th grade. They are aware there is a good chance they won't be able to have children, adoption is their plan. They're married for a year, it's Christmas morning and they have a condom break. Don't think anything of it. 3 months go by my mom isn't feeling right annnnnd surprise she's pregnant with me. Sure enough, I come out of her and have my dad's exact face😂. I also have 2 younger sisters they had no trouble conceiving.

I have a story similar to the fourth. My dad has this childhood friend, and he's married. Him and his wife were told they weren't able to have a child. At some point, wife starts having stomach pains, but thought they were nothing. Then her period stops, but she just assumed that it was just time for it to stop. (early forties as well) At some point she decided to go to the doctor. As you already knew, she was pregnant. But what you didn't know, was that she was *8 months* pregnant.💀 The doctor was dump founded, since it was practically *impossible* for her to get pregnant. They were to the point of considering adoption. Their daughter was born healthy, which was a miracle too, since wife wasn't very careful, and was also helping her mother who was at the hospital at the time. Now their daughter is healthy, and will start second grade after summer. :)
The sports car pregnancy thing happened to my mom's friend! She has PCOS so she never thought she'd have a baby. She wants another but she's up there in age and her husband is too scared.
That was her story or she had the same story? Since their kid is in highschool now, it would be about 14yrs from their 40s... Yeah having a baby in your 50s is kind of rough.
During my junior year of High School, a classmate had the same first name as a former neighbor's stepdaughter before we moved to where we still are today, about a mile away. I didn't think much of it at that time until I got a message from her on Facebook asking what my Mom's name is. After I respond, she says that she was the neighbor's kid. The following day we're both talking to each other quite a lot about then. Her stepdad, who we knew the most of their family at that time, had passed a few years prior.
I used to work security in a museum and above the museum was some apartments. A young man was the supervisor of the apartments. I had never met him prior to him moving into the apartments. One day, I was talking to him and mentioned that my cousins have a sheep farm in a specific area of Oregon and my friend, just joking around, asked if my cousins were D and L, don't want to actually put their names here so I used their initials. All I could do was stare at him in surprise and I said yes. When he was younger, he had gone to school with my cousin's sons.
Something similar to the story of the commenter on the first story happened to me. I once found out I'm related to one of the girls in my class. Now, we lived in a small town and a lot of people there were related- but we were related through the side of my family that's NOT from this town! Also, the biggest plot twist I ever had was finding out that the fact nobody showed up for my 10th birthday party wasn't a mistake but a boycott of the event- not even organized by a child, but by the mother of one of the kids in my grade. I didn't find that out until I was 17, and I'm not exaggerating, it traumatized me.
Happened to me too. Went to school with a family for 6 years. There were 6 of us all together, 5 of us in high school at the same time. Went to a very small school that had 350 students TOTAL in the high school. My grandmother decided to track down her mother's first cousin she's named after but hasn't seen in decades. Grandma finds this cousin, they have lunch, and they get to talking about their grandchildren and that's how they figure out we went to the same school.
I meet this really cool kid once during Halloween and I didn't know who he was. I was dressed as Guts from Beserk and I guess he didn't realize I was a girl. Went back to school and didn't see the kid until like at the end of the school year.He brought up about how he meet this chill person dressed as Guts for halloween. I looked him dead in the eyes and said dude that was me. He was flabbergasted.
Story #4 is awesome...hopefully, John is into being a mechanic and that he can also get his old man like a heavily modified Chevrolet C4 Corvette to sort of make up for the sports car that his old man had before he was born.
Ohhhh a plot twist I have. My freshman year in high school one of my friends had a serious crush on this girl. He would talk to me about her for months on end. One day he finally succeeded in getting her number and they started talking. So a couple of weeks go by and he tells me him and her have finally done the seggs and it was great so they started a secret relationship that nobody but me really knew about it. People suspected but were unsure. Some months go by and him and her are going strong for some young teenagers. One day he comes to school looking like he just got jumped by like 9 ghosts and his face is stuck in shock. I get concerned so I try to find out what’s wrong. He looks at me and he’s near tears, I’m scared cuz I dont know what to do. He says “Man…….. just the other day my Mom told me she wanted me to meet up with an estranged sister of hers. They haven’t seen each other in years and that she thinks me and her daughter would get along fine. Bro… we get there and why was my girlfriend standing there”? Me being dumbfounded and not wanting to believe his story I say “So like… was your girl your cousins friend” HOPING AND PRAYING he was gonna say yes. His face goes pale and he says in the shakiest “Man…. Man….. maaaan…. MY GIRLFRIEND IS MY FIRST COUSIN” My jaw just fuckin dropped to the floor cuz they have been fuckin each other for MONTHS at this point. According to him how it went he said him and his Mom pulled up to his Aunties house and he was excited to meet a nee family member. So his Auntie opens the door and welcomes them in, tells him she has to seen him since he was a baby, yada yada. His Mom and Auntie do a quick catch up before his Aunty says “DELILAH (not her actual name) COME DOWN STAIRS AND MEET YOUR COUSIN AND AUNTY” he said he was thinking to himself “Huh…. My girlfriend has the same name as my cousin” he said next thing he knew he saw her coming down the stairs and she just stopped midway and she stared at him and he stared right back at her. His Aunt “introduced them” and they just continued to stare at each other in silence. Next thing I know now me and him are sitting in silence cuz I didn’t know what the hell to say. We were both quiet in class for like 2 minutes before I finally looked at him and asked “So…. Like…. What you gonna do”? He just shook his head and said “Bro… I dont know cuz… cuz I still love her”. BRUH! I felt so bad for him. They just completely stopped talking to each other after that. Boy howdy, family reunions gotta be something else for those two.
My father wanted to have a girlfriend and wife at the same time and was cheating for a while when I was young. When caught, he demanded to get a separate apartment to live in part-time and then come home on weekends to be with my brother and me. Divorce ensues, and he gets taken to the cleaners. He married the affair partner a few years later, and she didn’t like him having kids. So, once we became adults, she tried taking us out, permanently. Turns out marrying a home wrecker will do that sometimes. I got married to escape. Still married and happy. Dad is miserable and has no luck with women, in spite his insistence of being an “alpha male”. Oof!
A few days ago I watched a cold case video. It reminds me of a case that was recently solved. Sara Yarborough of Federal Way Washington. She was actually on the video, AND , I see a picture of the guy at the time of the murder (1991) I SWEAR it was the SAME guy who, at about the same time, was watching me in a department store bathroom!! I saw the picture and IMMEDIATELY knew it was him! I was not even a teenager yet
An ex-roommate decided to google his name. Found an article about a man with the same last name the was shot and killed by his wife. The article showed a picture of the man and it looked a lot like my roommate. He called up his grandparents and asked if his father had any other kids and they confirmed he had another son and give the name... the same name as the guy killed by the wife and even gave the same area where he was suppose to be living.

"among us" is just a mafia game. ppl been playing them for literally over a hundred years. Its a common camp game, they're also really good ways to turn a long coach bus ride into a lot of very bitter people yelling at each other.
My mom was born with tumors in her brain and seizures. She's epileptic. The doctors said she wouldn't make it to 21. She's 47 😊. The doctors said she wouldn't be able to have kids. Me and my older brother scoff at that 😂 my mom is a miracle and I love her

ya, i was talking with 1 of my moms guy friends that she hadnt seen since i was around 4 and we got onto the subject of bdays and were pointing out more positive perspectives of bdays thru life and when ur getting past 50-70 like "uve survived this long" u get to see all the cool stuff of the future. also another perspective i heard on a yt reddit video about some1s quote about how were all time travelers except we travel second by second. :)
I was dressed up at Anime Expo and was taking pictures (with permission). I took a picture of a Harley Quinn cosplayer, extremely cute but didn't think to try anything because it's Anime Expo. Fast forward 5 years, I move to the East coast and start going to college. Run into this woman and become friends with her. After sharing likes and dislikes it turns out that she was the best friend of the Harley Quinn and that same Harley Quinn was interested in me. She actually started to look around for me a little after the photo. I wasn't found because I decided to change out of costume because it was incredibly hot, so she never was able to find me again. She has a family now and lives a good life.
Aunt and uncle decided they were done having two kids and sold all the baby stuff they still had(highchair, stroller...) A month later aunt is pregnant with number 3. C-section and told the docs to tie her tubes while in there
in the 7th grade one of the kids in my class lost his phone, and people were accused of stealing it to the point where the principal herself was roped in and told the class that the police would get involved, 5 minutes later its revealed that the homeroom teacher had it all along, crazy shit.
Witnessed a car accident. I stopped to give them my dash cam footage. Girl ended up with a small hole through her leg. 3 days later, I started my new job (transporting disabled people). Go to my first pickup, and it turns out the same girl works there specifically with my client
more of coincidence. i had a friend in middle school who's mom would often do work day trips on weekend. usually meet at a location hours away for a meal. depending on things he'd go if on a weekend. on one monday we were talking about what we did over the weekend and he said he went on one of the work day trips. they went to Pensylvania (we were in NY) where the meeting was at a bed and breakfast. he went on describing the house, the owners (an older couple) and their 2 large dogs and small dog. I began asking more questions like what was in house. turns out he had gone to my grandparents' bed and breakfast.

I was friends with this girl in middle school and we both talk about how we have a family reunion going on Easter. The family reunion roles around and I’m sitting away from the family and I see my friend walk up. I asked her why she’s there and she says she’s there for the (family name) reunion and I said I was too. We got excited and started running around to all the members asking how we’re related. She’s my second cousin and my best friend. Also believes she was abducted by aliens last we hung out. Love my cousin 😂
I have one of these sort of. So I went to school with this guy who was popular with everyone, would float around to different groups and hangout then go about his day, real kool guy. One day I went to meet some cousins on the other side of town, my dad was close with them when he was younger and wanted to catch up with them. It was kool, we added each other on facebook and whatnot (I'll call the one my age Ashley). Anyway, get back to school and he comes up to me and goes "how do you know 'Ashley'"? I told him that we are cousins and met over the weekend. He said "That's my cousin, you're my cousin's cousin." So we acted like we were cousins from then on because of our mutual cousin :D
most of mine happened with gaming friends. three times now in the past 6 years of being a pc gamer i've went to introduce a friend I met in one game to a friend or group i play another game with only to find out they already know each other through another mutual friend but just didn't really talk much to each other before. The last one was the most "small world" of them all. Played this one game for a while with some randoms until we became friends. a few months later one of them introduces me to a friend he met in a different game. Then i introduce her to a friend I met in another completely separate game and it turns out those two met through a mutual friend the three of us know from that 3rd game and if I hadn't quit playing that game I would have met her before my other friend introduced us and it would've been like a double small world moment withing one.
This was back in the 70's, I was a young kid, think around 5 or so, summer holidays from school and I was visiting my uncle (mum's eldest brother), was a nice day and playing in the garden, my ball went over the fence into neighbours garden squashing some flowers. Neighbour got really angry, aggressively shoutingand swearing, I was saying sorry over and over, my uncle came out and tried to placate the guy who by this time hand come into my uncles garden followed by his 2 sons (late teens/early 20's). There's no calming this guy down, then one of his sons grabbed me twisting my arm and dislocating my shoulder. I'm not clear on what happened next as it was so fast and I was in a lot of pain but the next thing I remember is my uncle squatting down to my level to talk to me and the 3 neighbours are all on the ground. Uncle says this is going to hurt and to count to 3, I get to 2 and he pops my shoulder back in, he stands up and drags the semi conscious neighbours out to the pavement and takes me back inside. It wasn't until I was a bit older, early teens that I find out that uncle wasn't an army dispatch rider in WW2 he was in SOE, more or less what was before the SAS. Made more sense how he took out the neighbourhood bully and his sons so quickly and efficiently back then.
I’ve gotten in a few fights before, and my go to move was to bite people. Never ended up hurting anyone, but one person came out of the closet a while after that fight.

Early 2000s, I was looking for people to play in a game of Legends of the Five Rings (think D&D meets Shogun). So I put up ads in local game stores. A woman answers one of my ads. I meet up with her, we talk for a while, eventually, we both realized she had married the brother of one of my old high school friends whom I had lost contact with.
I have an uncle how had a friend all though middle and high school. later they both got a DNA test and they were very similar. it turns out there half cousin's and never new it.
This was not long ago but, Me and all my classmates and other kids from the same grade knew my friend which I'll call "J" also dated this girl "R" they dated but never actually did a physical interaction. The teachers knew they crushed back eachother but didn't know they were dating A couple weeks later he told me that they broke up bc she was cheating on him with another guy so like i kept comforting him. Then while we were in our Filipino class while we were copying from the tv my teacher said "Yk about the "i luv u" thing right J?" J then said "uh yeah" The teacher literally said : "R would always text you right? But she was actually writing and listening in class while i was texting u" J's jaw was wide open and everyone said "OMG HE'S LIFE WAS A LIE-"
Back in highschool, I had a friend who told me she was going on a date with a guy later that week, ranting about how it was the greatest crush she's ever had so far. The day after the date she told me how they passed in front of that one restaurant where her relative X worked part time. She commented on it and he replied that his relative Y also worked. This was a small restaurant, both their relatives were female, my friend who was quite close to relative X knew she didn't have any female coworkers... The date didn't last much after that... I kinda regret pointing out that they weren't related by blood since it was either through marriage or godparents, I can't remember exactly, and even if they were, they were so far apart in the family tree that inbreeding would have been a non concerned had they not noticed they were related. It caused her to consider whether to try to rekindle it or not. Never met the guy but from what I gather it was a hard pass for him.
Haha similar situation to the first story (except not biological relatives). One day I found my BEST FRIEND at my grandma’s house. She was visiting with her mother. Her mother had been dating my uncle for two years and neither one of us made the connection. Family reunions became a lot more fun after that. Also had a similar situation to story 7. Basically, we had these two new kids in my class (small school, two classrooms) and they said they were starting at the new school before they actually moved into town. Huh? Is there a free house somewhere? (Keep in mind, this town is practically a ghost town with VERY few houses). Oh yeah, our parents said we’re probably going to move into a house just around the corner from here. Hey, I live just around the corner, what’s the house look like? Oh, it has a green roof, a blue fence and…blah blah blah. Dude…that’s MY house.
