The one about raising animals does work if you are smart about it. My fiance is funding our vacation by selling some rare chickens she has raised.

I got one lol I have a collection of nearly 10 airsoft guns, most costing upwards of $200-300, and I don't even play airsoft. Sounds ridiculous but they are all replicas of ww2 guns, made with real wood & metal. Growing up I loved ww2 movies and video games, so having this collection is really cool to me. Decently often I'll pick up one of the replicas, admire it for a while, then set it back down. I probably could've done with a smaller collection, but ah well, I don't spend my money on much else.

Our neighbors are poor people, and yet they make really bad buying choices: eating out, eating premade (frozen) foods. Investing time in preparing bulk foods like rice and beans will go a long way in saving money. And they have designer clothes, WTF. I am a walking advertisement for Walmart brands.

People shilling out thousands of dollars every year for the latest iPhone.. paying marked up premium prices or phone plans for a phone that does the exact same as every other phone that is a fraction of the cost, and then spending hundreds on repairs when any other phone will cost a few bucks
