We were disappointed in our experience at Terralina Crafted Italian in Disney Springs. While the food was fine and the restaurant itself was nice, we didn't enjoy the experience. Something we didn't mention in the video is that it felt like our waiter was really pushing us to buy more, for the sake of us spending more money and therefore them earning a higher tip. Then, it kind of felt like they took advantage of the situation with the ice cream. The food was mediocre, the music was loud, and the service wasn't great. We won't be going back to Terralina in the future.

I don't blame you a bit as I sure wouldn't want to go back after that experience. To high on the prices and the server acting that way on the ice cream. 🍨 🍰. I am with the others and sure would have called and complained to the restaurant. If that didn't work I would have called a step higher. At least it looked like Jess enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing!

When you get told they have something you enjoy and dont explain hey - its extra... I have have fallen for that. And than be like surprise you owe an arm and part of a foot. And there on vaction, I would pick my favorites too. Remember were not seeing their life 24/7.

How would the server know that he was supposed to ask you ? Jessica is an adult and he may not have known she's autistc. You know how expensive Disney is .

He could have mentioned that it would cost extra. That’s probably what they meant. Usually they tell you if it will cost extra. Also you can tell she has a disability. Yes some people you cannot tell if they do but it’s obvious with Jessica and that’s ok. I also have a physical disability that you can see, and also I’m deaf who reads lips (I don’t sign).

Jess is really receptive in this vlog. It was nice to see her calm, and enjoying and participating in the conversation. 💜 Adding $8 for ice cream wasn't on. 😳 I would've asked to speak to the manager about that. Absolutely insane! Of course Jessica can pick what she wants to eat, like ordering the ice cream, and she did. She didn’t understand how it would cost so much more, especially since he made it seem like it wouldn’t

Yeah I think that's wrong when servers don't clarify that things are an upcharge or when they smile and wink like they're throwing it in for free when they're not. That's very steep not to let you know in advance. I tip well but I do adjust accordingly for service failures like that! If you haven't been to Hard Rock Cafe in Orlando I recommend not going there! We were there earlier this year and it was awfully loud. Terribly loud. We won't go back. I feel like you liked the food overall, but the server error made you feel less about it. But I agree it's worth trying other places or just going back to places you wholly enjoyed. Val your haircut is cute! Glad to see you Disneying it again! Jess really seems in one of her happy places!

I agree with your opinion on the server/ice cream episode. The cost should have been shared. Personally, I would not have charged, despite there being an $8 fee. Hospitality service also means having good relationship connections with others.🤷🏻‍♀️☺️

I agree with you, the waiter should have told you the ice cream would be extra. I was a server and that is unexceptable. I would contact the restaurant and let them know❤

Jess asked if it came with ice cream, he said it didn’t but he could get some - doesn’t seem that he ‘pushed’ Jess to have it. Perhaps he should have said it would cost extra, but personally I would have expected to pay for it. Nothing is free - or cheap - at Disney!
