The 10 commandments won't save them but can curb the darkness from utterly consuming us. There is not a single verse saying that it is a sin for a man, but it is a sin for a woman, as she can only have one man unless her current husband dies. The only men that were told to not have multiple, were kings (even though they still could) or pastors of the church. So no, it isn't just "recorded". Where is the verse where Jesus scolded the concept, because in all my searching, I couldn't find it. In fact, In Jeremiah you can see God himself referring to his "two wives", Israel and Judah, both being referred to as sisters who he divorced. Interesting that God himself would use such a metaphor, if he didn't frown upon the practice.

@@idigress7865 I'm 29. When I was growing up, I remember standing for the flag and reciting the pledge of allegiance too. This was in New Jersey. However, by the end of High School, I don't believe we had to do that any longer. So, they eventually removed it from schools.

I don’t think either should be in the classroom anyway.

@@richardperaza5083 The number 7 means complete. Why would people want to add or take away something that was already created? People like to work a lot.

One is displayed for inclusivity, the other is simply to indoctrinate and for religious supremacy.
