can you test if both cables sound the same? is the blue cable extremely lightweight like the original cable? btw, easy pick for the Zetian Wu (original edition). I'm only curious about the cable since it comes with the interchangeable terminations, whether it is the exact same sound as the original's. I'd either buy another original for another cable termination, or buy the heyday just to get that cable for the terminations (if it sounds the same as the original).

@@rnarexperience Summers 🥵 Winters 🥶 It’s been great really. As for this hobby , I’ve been in and out of it for almost 4 decades… I moved from room filling gear to a headphone stack …to now IEM’s…middle age and downsizing….along with wanting less complications in my fun. Take care .
@rnarexperience
@rnarexperience Год назад
@@carminedesanto6746 Even hotter than the Summer in OZ? At least you got snow there, I gotta head to the Snowy mountains to experience snow, which i have yet to experience 😅. Just out of curiosity, do you feel like your sensitivity to treble has reduced with age? Don't have to answer if this is getting too personal but been reading about how as you get older, the more treble you'd want in your track. (Not saying your very old or anything but since you were in the hobby for 4 decades I'm just curious to hear about your journey)

Great short and fun video , thank you. I’ve got the original WU..with CP 100 tips and a better cable ( yes, 4.4😋) they’re damn good . As for top planar in my IEM’s stable..it’s just ahead of my OG S 12’s ..a more fun version of the ‘12 ….abd I prefer the slightly better bottom end on the WU…just slightly. Take care Namaste 🙏
@rnarexperience
@rnarexperience Год назад
Thanks very much for your kind compliments! Oh yeah the 4.4 gives it that extra "MmMm!" at least for me. A lady with power will give you a more powerful experience~ Thank you for sharing your experience compared to the S12. I'm now curious how the heyday would stack against the S12s

Bottom end of Wu is really pure joy, tonally midrange is too dry rather to tend to be brighter presentation but they are planars so no wonder it is like that. I have original Wu with 2,5 cable so I dont feel the need for HBB ver even if it looks good! :). I had more expensive IEM's yet Wu got some magic to them, they are so unique. My personal favourite headphones are Verite Closed and nothing comes even close to their tonality and perfect mid range, Wu low end is really close to VC which cost over 2000$ thats already amazing.

@@rnarexperience Only low end is similar somehow very well done on Wu :) dont get me wrong VC is superior in any term. VC is love you must try it, not cheap but worth every penny

Great review! Enjoyed the imagery lol How does the Heyday compare to the 7Hz Timeless in your opinion? I’m new to the IEM game and wonder what’s the correct price point for me… SIMGOT AE500 at around $100 LETSHUOER Z12 at around $150 TANGZU WU HEYDAY at around $200
@rnarexperience
@rnarexperience Год назад
Thanks! Glad you're enjoying the videos! Oooo I need to hear the Timeless again to be certain, however if I'm going off memory, I feel Heyday suits my preference better as the Timeless, while has a touch more resolution, can sound a little harsh on some tracks (for me), Heyday is just sitting on that edge but I'd the Heyday over the Timeless. Some may argue differently. As for price point, I'd actually go with the following $100 - Truthear Zero or Joyodio Shine (Haven't tried the Simgot yet - it's coming though) $150 - Surprisingly I don't think I have one in this price category. Gotta look through the pile again $200 - Heyday (for now) At this point I think i need to follow the trend and make a tier list

The bass on the Mahinas are sublime , detailed & well extended and slam hard. the only gripe for some people will be the treble roll off but it’s so smooth at louder listening and a decent amp
