How do different proxies work, what are the differences between them, and which one is right for you?
We'll look at how each type of proxy treats your data, then go into how to choose the right one and make some recommendations.

Thanks! It's a good video! And it will be better if the echo can be reduced

Video content seemed more geared to driving towards a point: vpn is the best option, and even further, it advertises for its own vpn. That’s fine, but be up front about it, and this is probably not the video to watch for someone interested in the technology behind the various other proxies.

1:34 - why information isn't encrypted if there is HTTPS proxy used?
@mingsumsze6026

I think he is wrong. HTTPS traffic are end to end encrypted

The author is wrong on this point, HTTPS is just secure enough for daily usage. Except the other side is not HTTPS supported(or you want super high speed connection, then go with UDP), I don't see a reason to use Socks5 or other customized VPNs.

How do you incorporate Tor with a VPN?
@tamarisauce1278

Tor basically functions like a vpn. If you're using tor, you don't need a vpn.

@@tamarisauce1278 If you really need anonymity then use a vpn because your request isn’t encrypted when it has left the exit node and is going to the web server

@@familyguyclips7486 No, many VPN providers have been caught spying on users, and I'd put money on the fact that some are even honeypots for the government. Remember: they know your real IP and location, and they know what domains you visit. So no, VPNs do NOT give you anonymity. On the other hand, tor gives you real anonymity by using a trust-less system. Also, if you're using SSL, your request IS encrypted out of the exit node.

I personally use, socks5, RDP, (premium) VPN, Mac address change, and tor browser or Firefox.

@@Andrew_Tate_Personal No one outside your local network or the app you're running can see your MAC address, if you change it for your ISP they can't see your device MAC address they only can see your router MAC,

2:15 The serial number of a server? I don't think so. Lose the echo on the audio. other than that I think you answered my question

He means the IP address (v4) that is a number (stored as a 32bit number) similar to this one for example 127.0.0.1

So for pentesting, I cracked the password to my username. I go to the site but it won't login due to device ip address. Will using a vpn get you in? Regards from Ecclesall
