I'm not American but I speak English and didn't know the differences among these terms, nor the matters that are behind them. I loved this video and will immediately go check out your channel.
I learned a lot from this video. I didn't even know the US was the third largest country in the world (or at least had not thought about it). Did the percentages of protected land in the US only include federal or do the include state and local lands or even privately protected lands like land conservancies?
As far as I can tell from my sources, these are all public protected lands (so federal, state, and local). Privately protected lands have yet a different set of rules about what can and can't be done on them, and I think they're more difficult to track and less likely to be counted on any Internet databases.
Thanks for clearing these words.am starting to think English may beat Chinese as the hardest language. Just so many words and phrases have almost the same meaning. it's freaking hard to know when to use which. Such as shove and push. The more i learn the more confused i get..
Glad you liked it! Hahaha, the debate rages on. I've heard how a person pronounces that word has more to do with who taught it to them. It's apparently a big joke for the team of the PBSDS channel "Eons."
