I'm diving deep into the world of gravel tires with a review of the Maxxis Rambler and the new Maxxis Reaver tires! Whether you're a seasoned rider or just getting started, choosing the right tire is crucial for performance and safety.
I'll break down the differences between these two durable yet different gravel tires and offer tips for when and why you should use each one. Plus, I'll touch on the importance of tire pressure - because even the best tires and bikes can't compensate for the wrong PSI. Remember, it doesn't matter if you have the best gear and are the fittest rider if your tire pressure isn't right, you'll miss out on the best ride possible.
If you find this breakdown helpful, give it a thumbs up, say hello in the comments, and don’t forget to subscribe for more insights and tips. I hope to see you at Rebecca's Private Idaho where you can test out your tire choices with me in person!

I ride the “mullet,” Rambler in the front and Reaver in the back! I found it’s an efficient setup for an all terrain set up.

Reaver and Aspen ST seem to be very similar if you want to go with something even wider

I love the Rambler’s exo performance. But I pinched flatted two damaging the side wall above the bead. The second time I even had a Cush Core installed.

Why are you pinch-flatting at all? Watch your tire pressure.
