@@tiattahiscupcakecandykatan2453 Because the dog was the focus of the discussion at the moment the call ended. the T1000 wanted to find out why. And it was easier to kill the dog to get it. I love how the dog was barking so much because it knew there was a monster in the house. In the future, dogs were able to identify terminators disguised as humans, in the present, the dog was also able to notice this. And what I always wondered in this scene was if the terminators can mimic the voice of people, how can neither one tell the other is faking it? Fun fact: theirs a little nice touch in the 2019 terminator resistance video game. You find a dog, and bring it back to the camp. I love how John himself realises that he’s talking to the T-1000 upon noticing how nice “Janelle” was. He knew that she and him shared a mutual dislike of each other therefore it was a dead giveaway. Even the dog knew something wasn't right and his barking further confirmed his suspicions before the Terminator played the Wolfie trick on ''Janelle''. In one of the deleted scenes, you can see the T-1000 walking through the house and looking into the bathroom during that moment. You can’t see it but it is implied that the real Janelle is lying there dead with her feet sticking out of the door, presumably killed when taking a shower (Psycho anyone?)

John's clever and streetwise, which would serve him well as a leader. The Terminator picked up on John's doubt and executed a standard identity verification technique-an innocuous statement that the T1000 wouldn't know but that Janelle would catch and correct instantly.

Can you believe that Cameron wanted Billy Idol to play the part? If it hadn't been for the fact that Idol was in a horrific motorcycle accident, then this movie would have turned out much differently. Robert Patrick got the role of a lifetime, and he took the ball and ran with it. Even being so young at the time, he was mature enough, with a good head on his shoulders, to realize that he had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and he did everything perfectly to make that role his own. We see room searches all the time, ranging from methodically rifling through each drawer and looking under rugs for hidden trap doors to outright ransacking. The T-1000 does... none of that. Instead it very carefully runs its fingers over every single thing in that room, even when it seems to serve no purpose. Because it's not just looking for clues to where else its target might go. It's learning everything that's possible to learn about John Connor without talking directly to him. Which is terrifying.

God Almighty, the Creator was manifest in the flesh. He came into the world to take away the sin of the world. He gave up his own life to save yours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for your redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. This is the Gospel which means the Good News. Those that reject redemption will go to hell. 1 John 1:8-10 KJV If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. John 1:1-3,10 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. [10] He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. Isaiah 44:6 KJV Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. Revelation 1:17-18 KJV And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: [18] I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. Acts 4:12 KJV Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Showing a guy with a blade through his head is fine, but showing the dog dead is a no no xD
@potaterjim
@potaterjim 3 года назад
It's actually pretty subtle and clever, it has to do with how impactful those deaths are. Killing the dog was senseless violence, and the dog didn't deserve it, so we don't see the death, only hear it, but it also doesn't linger on the fact very long, because while the audience doesn't want to see the dog die, we also don't really have much attachment. We get the reverse with the asshole foster dad: He's built up to be a jerk, so his death is gratuitous and "rewarding". At the end of the movie, we have the opposite, where we get to watch the terminator die, but it's long and drawn out, because it's emotional, and we have an investment in that character.

In a book t1000 was scanning the items with his fingers, so fingers where changing color and texture in process( like in the end of the movie, on the factory) Looks like they filmed that part, but didn't add special effects due to a complexity. Because this is a good movie and doesn't have character's constantly narrate their thoughts for no reason. When the T-1000 kills the dog and reads the name "Max", we know exactly the realization it had made without needing explanation.
