You can also create foxes with 8 hearts by feeding the parents enchanted apples (not sure if you need to feed both or if you can get away with just one). Pretty useless, of course, but hey! A novelty 60% stronger animal that costs one (or two) incredibly rare items to breed!
@@Moonstriker2514 f i have hit multiple walls but never have i died (totems) and even with out totems i still dont die since the (kinetic death) isn’t really even a feature on Bedrock Edition so its hard to die doing this on bedrock from my experience if stupidity at its finest moments in my world

Hey Silent, if you do the math, there actually is a theoretical maximum for the horse speed! If you do infinite breeding cycles (which is impossible, but it starts getting really close somewhere around 20) then the value actually converges to 5*(random normal horse speed) because of the way horse breeding works. So in theory, the absolute max speed horse you can get is 5*14.23 = 71.15 blocks per second! But on average it'll converge to a value closer to 45 blocks per second because the average horse speed is around 9 blocks per second.
For a bit more of the details on the math, there's actually a fixed point of the speed at 5 times a random horse speed. We can see this because Speed II gives a 1.4x boost. Breeding works by taking the speed of the two parents and the speed of a random horse and averaging it. So if we want to solve for the fixed point, we have to solve for x in the equation (1.4x + 1.4x + (random horse speed))/3 = x => 0.2x = (random horse speed) => x = 5*(random horse speed). I ran a quick script to verify this too and that is what I got.
So, in theory, if you managed to get two max speed horses, potioned and bred them, and got very, very lucky, you might manage to get the 71.15 bps horse, but the chances of it happening are basically just incredibly tiny?
11:40 fun fact Riptide 3 Elytra never lets you render your chunks only way to travel safely is looking at coordinates to land on desired location and flying at 200 Y axis to avoid mountains😁😉❤️👍🏻🙏🏻
That's because of the programming language they are written in, while Java is more flexible than C++ it is also slower than C++, therefore the command to render a new chunk is processed faster in C++ than Java, however it is easier to add new features in Java than in Bedrock and Redstone can be used for creating better farms in Java than in bedrock, I would enjoy playing on Java for the flexibility of the Redstone, but I play on my phone with a controller most of the time, so I'm glad it's bedrock because elytra would be useless with the render distance of a phone on Java, and because I mostly play on my phone I refuse to play Java edition on my computer because I would have to memorize 2 different ways of using Redstone to perform the same task
The blue ice and boat path actually works better if you have glass panes on either side without anything under them, the friction of blocks level with the ice seems to slow you down.
Fun fact : Flying with riptide elytra is ridiculously fast. If we take silentwhispere's bps of 219 and multiply it by 3.6 to convert it to hm/h we get a speed of 788 km/h which is around the cruising speed of a commercial passenger plane
For fast travel, I like to build 2 blocks tall nether highways at Y=15 with mined areas in the head height, to double up as netherite mining. For the actual highway it is 2 tall 1 wide, blue ice road with trapdoors at the ceiling for even faster spam jump and speed buildup.
You'll do better at high Y levels, just because you'll avoid all the lava lakes. Makes it way easier to build your highways. In a new world, the very first thing I do in the nether is tower up to 0, ~118, 0. Then I build a portal at that spot, move back down and destroy the old portal, and link my new one. From there, I branch out in the four cardinal directions. Cheaper and perhaps even less work than trapdoors and blue ice is just to make your tunnels 2 wide, and replace the floors with ice. Then you can use a boat to get super speedy.
I wanted to try out the Elytra+riptide, so when I got a chance, I did it. Was having so much fun I smacked into a floating moutain and died, I didn't pay attention to my cords so somewhere in my world of unloaded chunks there is an Riptide 3 trident and elytra on the ground still lol
Not sure if it was patched but i gave a 2 horses with speed and bred them and the child had the speed boost, not sure if it’s permanent tho Edit:nvm he talked about it
Silent, did you know you can actually get in to a boat with a horse in it quite easily. If you try and get in but get stuck on the horse all you have to do is just look down towards the boat and right click. It will take you straight of the horse into the boat. I hope you see this, I feel like I’m the only one who knows about this except my friends so it would be nice to spread it to someone else as well! (I noticed that you didn’t know when I saw your speed horse video)
Riptide tridenting actually does work, all you have to do is aim the trident so that It will almost bring you above the surface of the water but quite. This will allow you to travel as far as you possibly can with one trident throw. And if you combine this with spamming the trident, it's actually quite fast in open ocean.
I haven't tested it but as it is a little know bug(I believe I may have discovered it as I can't find mention of it anywhere) it may still work. You can do the far travel by getting into a bed during the nether gate transfer just like eating food does. It requires travel during night of course. Be prepared to be really far from home if you attempt this.
I use to be attracted by the old speed boat method, which was no longer existed in newer version. But with soul sand, the floating suspension speed boat is still existing, and it’s picking speed infinitely up to the trunk loading limit. That’s something totally fun to me, tho.
Nether roof super speed horses (assuming the horses go at 40 bps, which is what mine seem to cap out at), can get you at 320 bps. For long distance travel where you already have been to the coordinates, it's much simpler than boats
yeah but boats are just much more reliable cause 1 its simple easy and fast plus horses in bedrock edition have so many bugs that make any horse to a slow one to silent's hax horse just make not worth while and tbh its kinda better just for minigames than actual travel
@@drk-xr I suggested horses because it is much easier to break two holes in the nether roof than to set up tens of thousands of blue ice blocks after digging out 5 times as many blocks as that.
@@silentwisperer dont worry i know it isnt you putting the double ads, youtube its the one that puts ads on every video i go even if its less than 1 minute. Good video btw! Helped me a lot! 👍
On my server I used Riptide 3 with Elytra to get to my secret base, it was about 5k blocks out and it was on a mesa, when I started falling because rain stopped I knew I was there
I didnt know that diffrent ice types get you diffrent speed, but i think i am going to stick with packed ice because its less expensive then blue ice and it doesnt melt like regular ice
Woop woop. Love getting discord notifications as youtube hates me. Can't wait for ur next TB episode. Also did anything come out of you not paying the orange tax.
The horse glitch in bedrock, where you breed with two horses that has speed, is completely broken. If you breed with 2 horses with speed 255, the max speed effect, the new horse will be very fast. But you can still give the speed effect to the new horse as it's speed is just it's normal speed, and giving them speed 255, they can literally go 400 blocks per second, phase through blocks, and crash your game.
i beleive that you can space the ice out one block apart cause of a boats hitbox so its ice, air, ice, air etc to save materials and still have teh same effect. For cost to speed ratio, this method plus packed ice is probs your best bet, especially in the nether
So I'm not sure if it's a bugrock bug or not, but if you are sprinting on soul sand with soul speed III boots, jump and rocket forward with an elytra equipped, you somehow retain the speed boost as long as you continue holding forward direction. Once you let go, it seems to wear off until you land back on the soul sand. I've been utilizing the heck out of this with nether travel, and I gotta say, it has saved me so many stack of rockets over time. Of course it's no ultra mega speed horse, but it's pretty dang fast I tell ya whut.
They are about to patch the bedrock speed breeding bug. I will miss the whole world of breeding that it opened up. Horse ranches are fun to build. I'm breeding a bunch and hoping they'll retain their speed.
I use soulsand soul speed 3 and speed 2 effect to travel it’s amazing the most effective and even better with enough beacons, I use the neither which is 8 times faster
