Would be true if paladin wasn't objectively the most op class in the game with the most top tier builds available to it all the way from budget builds up to super expensive builds.

Grind the pits offline. Also hell andariel you can set your pc clock so that she is always terrorized. You will find everything you ever wanted.

Honestly. Having d2r on my PlayStation makes it so much easier and nicer than the old days. Software issues etc

I've been running one and it literally doesn't need infinity or sunders or anything to absolutely crush. I just got infinity and I doubled my clear speed

I never understood filling your inventory with charms because that means you’re not able to carry anything and that defeats the whole purpose of the killing and looting mechanic

​@@growingoaksthe better your gear is, the less there is to find. A fully geared character just picks up an item every couple hundred runs. That's why you put it in the cube. Lastly, the charms they have would be a crime to not wear them. Some people have 20/5 sc and +1 skills 40 life grand charms. You're just going to leave that in your stash? That'd be a crime to do that

They really gave us our 40$ worth with this game compared to so many games out lately

It wasn't taken out, it never dropped. I'm not saying it wasn't obtainable, a lot of very interesting items found its way to the closed battlenet but through exploits, not intended way.

Like Jmods, SOJ surge. White gear. 1.07 to 1.09 the glory years of d2. Open battle net Boss rush mods Median mods Sunless ect Then 1.10 came and all then all the runewords...

Hex charms, bug shaft, bug belt, occy ring, ith items, wiz spike gloves, imp shanks, body pops when dueling etc.. patch .08 .09 and 1.10, so much fun

That literally used to be game breaking

I always liked that about the game. D2 was funner back then because it was "smart." Now everyone is the same character(s) that the looked up online & the game is just dumb. No resets on the skills really set the "elite" players apart from the rest. So much thought behind every stat & skill.(that part isn't missed too much.. sucks deleting your character because an accidental click) There used to be so many special builds that you'd run into. The top rares used to be our "runewords." Charsi was so popular 🤩

Ppl sleep on necro so much you can see when you go to trade for a torch and see how low ppl value them vs other classes which is wild bc I think they’re one of the strongest

I remember that, cows used to be the level up way to go too they nerfed that in 1.10 I think in 2002 but before that cows could get you super fast levels also I think Amazon could pierce infinitely with their lightning javelins on cows

How does the double tesla mage merc work?

@@froghermit9852 I dont find it a good idea for a merc, the aura damage of the merc will be around 500 damage which is literally nothing.

I think so too, if you swap to legacy view even here they're moving crazy at 500 fps or something wild within the new engine despite the simulation rate being like 25hz

Def true, I think it comes down to the area and what you’re farming vs PvP because Druid is arguably the best in that case

I think pally prob is the best build all around and sorc probably as a first character to gear up your pally or whatever you want enigma on lol

@dartlingaming I like starting the game as pally and a smiter because they are cheap for all levels. Black or strength for a weapon base in a flail that will cover you a while. Making Spirit or Ancients pledge or Rhyme in a shield. These shields can be remade as needed in pally shields. As you go for shields for better and better damage. The rest comes as you go I feel. Charge gets you from place to place easy. This is just my go to when starting with nothing. Another point also is ubers, you can be hired to do others ubers or spam them by yourself. It's so much more fun then doing 1000 runs to me.

I personally went running hammerdin and did loads of travincal until I started building a hork Barb (trav until Lo dropped) and started making grief so that I could use it on both my smiter for Ubers and a pitzerker I wound up actually getting a ton of GG tc87 items fairly early for instance I got a death fathom and a death's web first week and traded it immediately for high runes, I dropped a cham on my first playthrough with sorc and got my cham shako I still use to date

holy fire auradin (the holy fire aura and conviction was destroying everything though the merc was just me trying a diff merc out)

all of them lol...in seriousness probably assassin with mosaic but after that prob sorc or paladin

Plugy has some qol d2r doesn’t have…the main improvements are graphical, some of the old school players don’t like all the more recent balance changes as they think it makes the game too easy

lol telekenesis can be useful to pop the chaos sanctuary seals I think

Zeal and frenzy have a tough time with single targets you even have a tough time keeping lifetap going from dracs

@@dartlingaming Yep....it's a lesson that cost me 2 or three keysets. I'd watch RU-vidrs go in with less impressive rigs and totally melt all three which gave me a false sense of confidence going in...

I think you are right I think Infinity wielding zon is #1 then mosaic assasin then Javazon with an infinity merc then prob sorc

Back in the original D2 druid was my favorite to play. Cheap, fun, complex character. Always had enig and would troll casuals pvp.

Probably the safest character to Hardcore.

Souls games aren't the only game genre that are fun to people.

Yes to all, it takes about 20 hrs to beat all modes give or take if you watch guides etc your first playthrough will take longer esp watching cinematics etc
