hey guys back in 2014 i started writing down the names of all the songs that had this exact same melody and it turned into this video thanks for watching love you x
Actually, I was practicing it for quite a while, but I had to stop playing for a few months due to a shoulder injury, and in that time had forgotten my efforts. Thank you for reminding me!@@nox5967
I always thoughts that music had a certain pattern depending on it's genre and where it was from. Pop music sounds so much alike for me, it has become rare to find something really original and if I do, it's mostly unknown singers. American pop has it's pattern, French pop, Korean pop and Japanese pop have it too. I heard there's a study that explain why it is like this. The brain tends to like what it is accustomed to hear, that's why most old people like their old songs better and young people like modern songs better. It's the same for countries, it's normal to not like right away a foreign song because your brain has to adapt first. Then the more you listen to it, the more you adapt and the more you like it. It's not always like this but i think that this theory is pretty valid.
kinda, it’s more because creativity in musical patterns is at an all time low with pop, which is more of the reason why older people dislike newer music, since if you grew up listening to stuff like rock or classical pieces all pop music just blends together
I’ve noticed the last part when I listen to music as well; I might not like a song the first time I listen to it, but after the 4th or 5th time many times I end up liking it a lot. There could be other factors involved like bias for the artist but your theory makes sense.
Lately there's also cultural cross-pollination. For example, Japanese music (today) is still heavily influenced by 70s and 80s western music, especially classic rock.

I googled it in another tab, and the first sources that came back say it's sometimes spelled with a 'k' instead of a 'c'. I wouldn't know which is right, since I've never heard of it before. Props for telling us!
i love that everytime i rewatch a seth video after him stoping being a content creator, i just go for "o7" reaction in my chair, out for respect for this freaking awesome videos he made along the years

a-dawg games yt oh sorry I didn’t understand the joke lol, if I would’ve made the joke it would be like, if he can play any instrument, I’m going to through a toile-.
"I'm so glad Seth Everman's expanding his arsenal." "Nah, dude, pretty sure he just had these instruments lying around and finally had an excuse to play with them."
@@nicoper at first I thought it was the Chinese' "duxianqin", a single-stringed instrument which is derived from the Vietnam' "đàn bầu", but the one he's using doesn't have the rod so cross that. The second one I could find was the Diddley Bow, which looks 99% similar and that's about it.
I'm guessing it's a really gnarly acoustic diddley bow considering it's DIY appearance and construction. The things even got a a screwdriver as a bridge saddle lol.
HOLY HOLY!!! I can proudly say that I have the two HOTTEST women on this planet as MY GIRLFRIENDS! I am the unprettiest RU-vidr ever, but they love me for what's inside! Thanks for listening ray
@Sassy The Sasquatch Not entirely, plenty of genres that aren't pop are "popular". It's pop because it tends to use more generic chord progressions and lyrics that are easily consumed by most, and thus you end up with a lot of songs that have similar structure with lyrics and tones changed a bit.
You're hilarious, Seth. And right. Also, I had no idea why I thought you had like over 1000 videos on your channel. You have less than 60, in 7 years. That's nuts. Keep up the great work, my friend.
