I'm currently 25, and I've been watching your videos for as long as I can remember (since my early teens) I'm currently a fashion designer and your videos were quite helpful in building my appreciation for well made garments. So glad you're back
Make this a whole series, pick downs. You watch pick ups to see pieces, hear the justification, and the story behind them. Pick downs have all the same narratives. Let’s you pump out more content and gives us more to watch. Good to see you back mate, been a long time fan, missed your vids x
I've watched you since I was in high school - the Couture Atelier days. Nowadays, I'm an engineer with a weird liking for clothing, in part thanks to you. Congrats for your son, and life in general!
Quite literally same bro. I was in Engineering school wearing Chelsea boots and skinny jeans trying to be like sanj, and I was getting compliments daily. All thanks to him.
Welcome back and once again congrats on becoming a dad! I can totally understand the reflecting on your previous clothing consumptions! I’ve become a dad myself 2 months ago and have since also shifted my priorities drastically and decided to not buy ANY new clothing for 2024. There’s more to life then ‘consume product’ 😊
Congratulations brother, last time I saw you you were struggling post op - looking at you now is incredible and wonderful to see. All the best to you and your fam!
Just recently I got back into rewatching your videos, wondering where you’ve been and if life’s been treating you well Sanj. Happy to see you’re amazing, to say the least!!
Been watching your videos since I was a freshman at college and now I am in my mid twenties, time fucking flies sheesh 🙏 Definitely molded what my fashion game is today and was truly an honor working for you for the brand. Feels lowkey emotional seeing you go from posting pickups at the antwerp sale to becoming father. Best wishes to you and your family sang!
you were my favourite fashion influencer growing up, been around since the iconic paris lookbook days! good to see you back on the feed and all the best
Your Back! Thanks for the realness and honesty; it is authentic and inspiring. Life moves in unexpected and mysterious ways. Congratulations on becoming a Dad; it is a new chapter. Don't be shy about not posting; you were busy with other things. But it is so good to see you again, don't be a stranger! We missed you! xo
Glad to see you back. Your first video I have seen was the combat boot one with the red Laces and I have been here since then. I don't think people recognize how iconic the human control system sweater is. I have so many nice memories from your videos over the years and I am excited to have you back.
do a pewdiepie and start doing dad vlogs or updates here and there about what you’re up to! we miss you here sanj, and we’re so happy you’re doing good
As someone with the same heritage as you your vids hit different growing up so always happy to see you on here. Congrats on the baby! Having watched the vid I totally agree with you talking about buying things for full price, I definitely remember thinking 'I could do that' with some of your earlier vids but the 3-4k jacket vids, I just felt it was always inaccessible to me. Not that the content wasn't good, I just preferred the sale prices etc personally
we missed u sang!! been watching u since i was like 15-16 and I’m 22 now. u put me onto jewelry and i broke out of the whole skinny jean trend back then thanks to you LOL to this day i credit you for elements of my style. taking up fashion design & marketing in school now.
so glad to see another sanj upload - been keeping track of the ig. if you’ve ever seen the sopranos, chris moltisanti asks ‘every character in a show has an arc, where’s my arc?’ and we’ve seen sanj have his, going from guy who buys a lot of clothes on youtube to brand owner and dad. big ups.
glad to see you letting go of some clothes you dont wear man. Smart approach and i think a lot of these fashion guys NEED to do the same. Cant wait for the black sangiev coat
Yes sir, as also a young vather living also in a urban German city I would like to see “What would sangiev wear”series back … The little time we have to spend online, I’m over watching fashion RU-vidrs pouring 5 minutes tea in their designer cups and call it minimalistic! What would sangiev wear to a outside play date on a Spielplatz? ✌️
we've all been there sanj, anyone whos into fashion goes through that era of just consume consume consume, i can speak for myself but im finally at a stage where i only buy pieces that will be practical and be WORN its okay to have those flashy statement pieces that you just love but nothing better then getting to that point where you truely appreciate your clothes
Happy that you're back and posting. I enjoy this channel for the personality, not just the clothes. ❤ Those LV jackets are gorgeous but I 100% agree that its a ridiculous amount of money for any normal person to spend on a single item of clothing (especially coming from someone who's currency is like R20/$1.)
Really happy to see someone is this space grow and show that this hyper consumption is very pointless. It becomes more apparent the more you grow. Especially with having a kid. If all that money was invested, you'd have almost double the value, rather than storing fabrics in spaces you then have to pay for. I am still growing out of this but working in wealth management, you realize that your happiest clients actually dont give a single crap about collecting these silly pieces of fabric that we convince ourselves are 'investments' that can be resold. the opportunity cost here is immense.
Really happy for you Sangiev. For the baby and the maturation. I absolutely believe people don’t need 90% of the things we own and or think we need. I personally believe it’s a contributor to mental health issues personally and a large contributor to that is social media and the relentless pressure from fashion marketing. Regardless I’m happy you’re coming to realize material goods ultimately don’t matter. I am trying to come to this realization more daily myself. I hope you sell most of your items and use that money for your child’s college fund, investing in stocks, real estate, your own business, or something more tangible you can pass down to the next generation. God bless Stan John 3:16
