Actually, while many appliances can draw more power over here in Europe, the American Miele vacuums have a higher wattage. Miele US list their vacuums at 1,200 watts, while our bagged ones range from 550 to 890 Watts (the max allowed for a vacuum). Miele Australia still have 2,000 Watt ones.
I was suprised at first that I didn't see the sebo canisters d4/e3 on here but yet then again it doesn't suprise me because when I was at the vac shop and tried the hose end of the sebo canisters, I was dissapointed to find that the suction even all the way up just wasn't as strong as the Henry's.. and this video proves it.. but despite that I still think Sebo's are solid machines
I gave my dad my Miele Uniq years ago and got a Sebo E3 Premium. The only things I don't like about the Sebo are it doesn't make carpet lines, the power head seems like it's not close enough to the carpet on the closest setting, and the hose likes to bend at times.
I think Sebo is the best brand available here with Miele a close second. Henry is also good, I have the 200 model, the big problem with Henry is they don't have a way to connect an electric power nozzle, although with battery power nozzles now available, that is much easier. I absolutely love central vacuums, I have a bunch of them throughout my apartment and I use them all without pipes. Try connecting a 240 volt dual motor central vacuum directly to a hose with no pipes, the power is amazing.
I got a zeroG a few years ago and I'm not sure how it stacks up to these, but I suspect it's comparable to them. I reaaly really like mine, other than the fact that the coed doesn't automatically wind, but that's not a deal breaker to me.
I'm looking at moving to just one vacuum for all purposes. How would a Dewalt Stealthsonic 9 gallon/5 HP DXV09P and a 12 gallon/5.5 HP DXV12P (both with bags for dry) fair as a multi-purpose vacuum as opposed to separate purpose units? For interior I would be using a 2 1/2" to 1 1/4" adapter to 1 1/4" hose along with one of the central vacuum air turbo brushroll heads.
So I have two very large dogs, one Great Pyrenees and a Shepard Collie they have a ton of hair, so I really need something easy to push on heavy thick carpet that will also pick up the dogs hair that is bag less as one vacuum in my home I dump a huge container 3 times . I have had a shark for years and I love the shark, but I'm finding it really hard to push on my thick carpet. Can you lead me in the right direction . Please Please.
No because when they're installed properly the only place they could have a clog would be at the end of the hose. The hose is typically 1 1/4" and the pipe is "2
Okay. Great reviews. I couldn't catch the brand name of the white cannister vacuum. Sounded like he said "ChadO" but couldn't find that anywhere so I must be mistaken.
I think that was the Lindhaus HF6, which he called the "Chad of vacuums". Which is an apt description. It's basically the modern take on something like a Silver King or a Fairfax.
CFM testing to be done properly requires A rather elaborate hot wire set up. "Working vacuum" is a good balance of air flow and sealed suction. This is the professional standard that's used when testing vacuums.
Central Vacuums tend to be the quietest since the motor is outside the living space. However I do have this video of sound comparisons between many different machines. I also include a sound test in every review. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nxtruFzyMWQ.html
I have a central vac system and love it but my maid that comes couple times a month is hard on it..she pulled the hose out of the floor suction attachment and to replace it was 250 dollars.. can you recommend vacuum for plush carpet and hardwoods /stairs I can get for her to use?
@@LawrenceTimme We're not "posh" but we have a housekeeper vacuum and clean our house once a week. We're retired in Florida and I'm disabled so can't vacuum. If you'd like to volunteer to clean our house for free go for it sport.
One is a commercial variant. The powerhead is optional with both so if you have carpet make sure you buy the one with the power head. Should be a link in the description for you.
I discovered the vacuum subculture while researching something to replace my Shark (which has worked fine for the last 5 years). It seems that anything that’s easy to buy (like at Walmart or similar) is frowned upon while elite (and expensive) brands that are available only through dealers are celebrated. I got 5 years from my $350 Shark Navigator and it kept my house clean. That’s pretty reasonable in my opinion. I just don’t see spending 1,000+ for something that essentially does what my Shark did. What am I missing?
You're missing everything. You don't even have the price right. Hope this video explains it to you. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MBr_zwXpSLE.html
Non of these vacuums are powerful. My 15 ton 450 HP vacuum truck wet dry vacuum with dual stage dirt separators is. My Miele Maestro comes in a very distant distant second.
