The comments I'm reading here about Obidients saying that their loyalty is with Peter Obi, and not the LP, and that they will follow Peter O anywhere confirms their ignorance of how democracy works. Why are people who do not want to see a great Nigeria happy with the crisis in the labour party? When Arabenbe and Apapa supported Abumere's led shambolic executive, I knew some recruitments have been made and concluded presumably but soonest, the chaffs will be separated from the wheats. Evil can never last. This is a labor party that went into oblivion after Mimiko left them and Dan Iwuanyanwu worked to bring it alive but couldn't do much and it died again until Peter Obi joined it to fulfill his presidential ambition and boom, labour party became the third largest political party in Nigeria and now some charlatants want to reap where they didn't sow. How would Obidents/general public get an extremely private picture if not someone who is close to his circle? Secondly, if you ppl had seen a picture like that of PO would you not do same or even worse of what you are complaining of? Obidents didn't leak that disgraceful picture stop wailing that he was abused because of it.

Abure is starting a fight he cannot win. The idea that if it is not me, no one else will be there. LP need to be positioned well for the next election but in all sincerity, Abure lacks the competence to be the Chairman. He's slippery and greedy and cannot be trusted. He easily forgets to realize that both Peter Obi and Alex Otti are hot cakes, ready to be grabbed by other Parties. LP will go into oblivion if the Obidients leave the LP and Abure and his co-travellers not be heard anymore. If Abure should know that his tenure ended last June and if he feels he is worth anything, let him go and vie for elective position and stop cash-and-carry candidates at Election Primaries. It's time for OBIDIENTS to float their own Political Party.

But why won't Nigeria adopt independent candidacy, so that Nigerians can vote for individual competence instead of dealing with all these party wrangling. Nothing good can come out of a gathering of a group of people with different interests and agendas hiding under a political party. In my opinion, individual candidates competing with these corrupt and uncoordinated political parties might just be the remedy that we need. I'm just sick and tired of these wrangling and lack of internal democracy in parties. Even a good candidate under these parties can be rubbished. I really regretted for dedicating out of my precious time going out to vote for this labour party . For the first time i am casting vote in history Anyway that Wil not happen again they have just demonstrated that they are not different from APC and PDP even those labour party members in the rep and senate are the same with PDP and APC none of them is rejecting any offer SUV car come they we all take it ,fat salaries and allowance they all accept it they should go to south africal and see what opposition part are doing ETF julius malema and co they can't even coordinate themselves talk more of building a very strong opposition party if you can't coordinate yourself at this material time how will you govern the country if we win ? Interestingly, if this story is true, the victim and the accused have both committed crimes. The alleged victim would have been attempting to commit the crime of illegally obtaining petroleum products from the NNPC. So, no court will assist him in recovering the money he allegedly lost to the accused. Thinking of it this way: you try to hire an assassin who turns out to be a fraud. Your conspiracy to commit murder is a crime. The assassin just gets an additional count of fraud. That shows you how normal such financial crimes are in this country - it's not a case of greed or gullibility if true - it'll be a case of just committing a normalised crime by both. The EFCC should ask that the money be forfeited to the Federal Government.
