This trending series from Arise is really so good! A 20-30 minutes news broadcast and analysis of the top stories. All the newcasters who appear on it are so seasoned and professional. Sometimes, the stories are quite sad or disappointing from the Nigerian government, but how they break it down and analyze it with so much information is impressive. Keep up the good work! We miss Ojy and Dr Abati..
@@FbafricanYou are NOT right...Dr Abati is one of the best and erudite Scholars and Journalists we have in Africa. You just need to listen to Dr Abati without bias. Dr Abati and the entire team is excellent.
@user-zq3ce5sm7s Don't mind that one, he doesn't know what journalism is. Dr Abati can't be compared to anyone on the Arise platform. He's a master in the art of journalism. 💯
Rufai sabi abeg please Nigerians make we no dey follow beat smaller African countries we are bigger than that. We should be the leaders of Africa, as the largest population of black we actually reflect the wrongs with the African continent, so we must direct our strength towards a better democracy by pressuring our leaders as said by the man of the people, Rufai.
I truly get ur point but if u really no this people, if u live there, sir is people hate us to their born, especially their guys, like just few of them like us and for real I don't no why, their lady are just the opposite of them, and when I was there I keep asking them why but they can't get give u a good reason, just hate us because we can do things they don't no how to do
It is important to know that these other African nations are the first to throw punches which always turn out weak. Nigerians never lose, they don't start fights, they also never back down & never lose.
That's great. What have they won? Better miminum wage? Better accountability from their politicians? Better governance? A better country? No... some lame online spat that makes them look unserious in the face of their own failing state. Clap for yourselves. No wonder the president can leave to France for a 'work stay.'
@@SlayviceAzathere is many thousands of videos where Nigerians talk and talk and compete themselves to South Africa in youtube. Nigerians stop forcing yourselves to South Africa. We don’t want to be associated with you
Rotus is so fast to defend policies and officials, he should watch it to avoid public. Well done Mrs mario-ese and rufai your analysis was very sensible and straight to the core issues. To thhose youths that spent 4years in prison, should know that Nigeria has happened to them, I pray they find hope again
The SA leaders should remind the youth that Nigeria was one of the country that supported them when they needed help during apartheid., and instead of competing they should work together for a better good.
I@@HlubiNgwane.its the truth. 1977. Cannot 4get most of their students were sponsored in our secondary school. Also we supported with one voice their " Hippie Tombie shows"
All you guys on seat are so intelligent, full of wisdom, energetic and zealous to get things riiiight... For goodness sake, Why cant these old fooolks give way for better things to happen to Nigeriaaa. The whole thing baffles me. God please 'ARISE' .and God bless you Guys.
I think it has changed. I booked to renew my passport. I went on the agreed date. I took only less than one hour to process a 32-page passport. Then, before I could get home from London, my passport was delivered. I think they have improved their services in the UK. The only problem was that when they booked you for 10am, when you got there, tens of people were also booked for 10am. I believe things will get better if good people with goodwill are in government. We need more selfless people in governance.
Couple of 10s of people in South Africa doing stupid things online shouldn't represent a state. I hate when Jobless people waste their time in stupid things
What a beautiful way to end with Dr Abati on vacation. We all need this. This is my only show as I get honest break down from diverse opinions. Kudos to the crew today as they always do their due diligence to bring us great stuff we look up to on daily basis. Thank you Arise Team
Well said, guys! Arise Crew 💯 Rufai 💯. This is the only media house where Nigerians draw their strength, and they need a widespread presence, support, and much more. We can collectively help by taking them to 5 million followers.”
The judicial review is not enough for the injustice carried out to those men and others. The government should be able to compensate them for that. Thanks Rufai for mentioning this
Well done guys. As a Nigerian I’m very proud of your take on this, especially the concern for the driver victims both in Nigeria and South Africa. Great suggestion Rufai.
Thank you Rufai!!! I met a few people that wanted me to pay $200, another $500 to one fool in Abuja to reschedule my appointment date in Canada. They refuse to be straight forward in this country. Even with the price increase, I’m not certain that the corruption will stop
Passport renewal or passport application in Guyana is $6000gy, which you get within 4days, here i can say is very cheap but converting to naira could be N38k. Nigeria govt needs to do better
Forget about energy of what to do, Nigerians are talented people and if given proper electricity supply, Nigeria will beat China and US join together in creativity
Rufai claims that S.A. ran ESKOM down, whereas access to electricity is 87% from 43% pre-1994 with ESKOM producing 58,095 MW compared to Nigeria's 14,000 MW😂😂😂
Remember Ngor boiti, we played this song so much in Nigeria, we played lucky dube's song so much and we never complained that its not our song, we celebrated their music etc we patronized their businesses but the South Africans are always thinking of competing with us, You can even see it on the super sport channels how they mock us once our football teams loose.
Wow, it's true, I was with an Uber Lady some months back. When her phone rang, ordering for a ride to festac town and wanted to be picked from Isheri, we got to Isheri, driven round severally only for the caller to cancel the contract. The woman felt bad to tear.
Make them just leave Seyitan, make she dey host trending dey go. She's a show killer, Ojy, we miss you but certainly you'd be proud of the great job Seyi is doing
Hello Arise news Are we aware that the abduction of medical doctors is also trending? Some hours ago, a Nigerian doctor, Dr Fadahunsi just got kidnapped some hours ago in Lokoja today and this is exactly 1 week after the news of the abduction of 20 medical students along Otukpo road, Benue state. I am reaching out as a concerned Medicsm student and pleading that you please look into this and create an avenue for help with your platform. This is becoming a pattern.
I love this, Rotus is acting unprofessional... You ghat your time to contribute but you wouldn't say everything and be cutting someone making meaningful contribution. Do better Mr. Rotus.
Thank you Rufai for your memories re: Nigeria/South Africa. The younger generation of South Africa did not know the importance of Nigeria in their fight against apartheid. I also taught some of them this history lesson at my workplace 15years ago when they took me on. The rest is history!

Rufai you are gifted. you are such an intelligent Guy and you always speak the truth fearlessly May God continue to guide you and protect you in jesus name. Amen-
Rufai you and your team are so good in your job very well done 👍. I want to talk about Nigeria vs South African. I'm so disappointed in South Africa whom we helped kill the apethied for their independence and now treating Nigeria like their enemies. I blame the Nigerian government for being helpless for its citizens in matters like this. Talking about Donald Trump I'm a fan of Donald Trump I love him and I want him to regain power nobody is innocent in politics so don't say Africans should not support him.
Finally, Rotus bias against Trump is in the open. He should be cautioned. No politician is worth fighting for...neither Trump or Kamala gives a f*** about anyone but themselves. All politicians are the same, once you start looking under the hood. Just do journalism impartially as best as you can
Leave Rotus alone when it comes to Trump!.... I'm a Nigerian/American and Trump is terrible for America! He is a convicted criminal and rapist...confirmed and convicted in court. Never compare Kamala to Trump who is a criminal ....Leave Rotus alone on this....
Kudos to Arise news 👏. Rooting for folks like Charles aniagolu, Rufai Oseni and Finelady Ayo. You guys tackle issues head-on with your guests especially good for nothing political chieftains and so aclaimed idle legal practitioners.
6:13 This guy is brilliant and well versed with the situation in South Africa, someone who has been following events over the years. I like his psychoanalysis of the oppressed SA mindset.
Until NGR, SA, and EGY decide to cooperate and unite to fight for Africa, Africa will remain a marginalized continent. With due respect to every other countries of Africa. But I feel these three have to get their acts together to move Africa forward. Why can't the three form a force to drive tech innovations, military strategizing, space and renewable resource development that is Made in Africa. May I emphasize that union of these three should be predicate of clean democracy/governance in the respective countires.
Unite and do what exactly? Warm eba? Warm fufu? Warm pap? Guy all they have to do is encourage industrialization, PROVIDE JOBS FOR AFRICANS allow free movement of people, goods and services in a bid to incorporate their economies to try and make their markets bigger, better and more productive. Increase security as well.
Rufai, great comments. Those involved in this debacle can face the law and are made to pay for their excess. We must be responsible for our actions especially if they negatively impact others. Keep it up Arise TV
You are naive, sadly, the majority of Bolt/Uber drivers are foreigners. This is not a win-win situation. There is a lesson to be learned on both sides.
@@jokoko7759 Tell that to your SAs govt and citizen who are crying and telling Nigerian to stop 😂😂😂. Nigerian are not the ones crying cause bolts is not a small part of our transportation system. And we don't pay on cancellation of order
@@GiftMichael-ii8wp First and far most most South African do not condone the pranks that been going on and most spoke against it. Nigerians are retaliating as a result of an outcry in Nigeria, it made the news. At the end of the day most bolt/Uber drivers in South Africa are foreigners, sadly are at the receiving end of this barbaric behavior. Only small minded person will think this is a win. You will be surprise of the outcry coming from the media in Nigeria.
Brilliant and resplendent Sheyitan presenting flawlessly. The equally elegant Ayo, Rotus and Rufai with a great analysis. Thank you jare, Ayo. The government should be ashamed of increasing passport fees when the passport is continually looked down abroad whenever it is being presented. The new passport is also with black and white passport pictures instead of the coloured pictures on the old passport and passports of other countries. Congratulations to Emir Dr Sanusi Lamido on his educational achievements. Dr Abati eku igbadun nibeyen o. Our beautiful Ojy is missed today.
