so ive been watching for awhile and i was wondering when he does the BLJ to fight bowser 1 is it really faster then going to the bomb place? like whats the advantage of it compared to not doing it?

if you don't do LBLJ you go to BOB twice, think it saves about 10 sec to go to bowser first

some stars in BOB require the wingcap, and since it is the only Level accessible in the beginning you need to skip it via LBLJ to Darkworld.

normally you have to go to Bob first because that's the only available level. But, you can't do all of the stars in one shot because you don't have the wing cap yet, which means you have to come back. lblj is faster because you only enter once
