I've been abandoned from my friends. And now I don't have any friends besides the Lord and I'm turning 18 in a few days, and this has been happening for two weeks now. Listening to this reminds me that God has different timings for others, along with myself. I shouldn't blame others and God for what has happened. I shall ask for his forgiveness. Please pray for me for guidance and for healing.

Baby, Im 52 years old and am in the same boat. Im alone except the Lord. These friends were not really my friends and sometimes God takes you out of a situation or away from ppl that dont go along with his plans for you. I even stopped talking to my sister. She was toxic to me. It was a hard decision but God showed me that she did not care for me all along. She is my older sister and I looked up to her my whole life and God showed me how I was blocking out the bad she was doing to me just to keep a relationship with her. Family or not, it sometimes is best for us to get away from it. It was a hard decision but now Im excited to see Gods plans for me next. I have never felt more free.

This was exactly the message I needed to hear. I pray for all of my brothers and sisters out there who feel like they are in a losing season to not believe that their struggles are a reflection of our worth or God’s love for us. Whoever has hurt you, whatever circumstances have disappointed you, let go, not of your dreams, but of your expectations so that Christ can lead you to where He has called you. “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13

I first watched this sermon when I was at the height of a very tough season. I have come back to this sermon several times at different points of my season, and it's like pastor's points become more clear each time I watch. This proving not only how alive God's word is, but also how He always keeps His promises about walking through the valley with me. I found this because my pastor told me nothings wrong with me but I have been convinced by others since I was tiny that there is indeed something wrong with me and I am 30 years old. My husband says I have something seriously wrong with me and what do I believe I am torn. Jobs friends said his suffering was his sins fault. But wasn’t he tortured by Satan to try and make him hate God? He never turned against God no matter how much Satan tortured him. And it wasn’t because he sinned. It was because job refused to sin and was a man of honor. But jobs friends never believed him. They gaslight him and told him it was his fault and something must be wrong with his faith. I am so sick of living this way. God can do it. I can’t do it. I can do nothing but make myself a ready vessel for the Spirit. That’s all I have.
