as a former savers cashier and self-checkout assistant, i can honestly say that ive never seen this happen. maybe its a policy specific to your store or your area?
So for the discount you get 20% for any amount up to $100. The max discount of $20 is at $100. Over $100 though they take another coupon automatically if you have more than one even if its $1.
When I go I add up to or just under $100 then I do another transaction. I figured this out when I realized that the cutoff was $100. I suck at math too so it's not fun, lol. I also bring a lot of things to them & get 20% coupons as well & it is also frustrating that you can only get one coupon per day as I don't live too close so last time they got 5 bags from me but the plan was to keep some in the car & bring a bag each time but then I realized I have WAY to much to list so I'm not going to Saver's til' spring.
You don’t explain if this is a problem or what to do about it? Should we wait and say don’t use that coupon and save it for when we have a larger order?
Simple way to explain is your rewards coupon will give you 20% off on all orders up to $100. If you spend $101 and you have 2 rewards coupons on your account you will end up using one 20% off coupon for the $100 and one 20% coupon for the remaining $1. Only way we have found to combat it is to separate your checkout to only $100 at a time.
@@Garden-Resell-Thrifts we get out number as close to $100 as possible to get the full 20% and then for the next transaction you can choose to use one or not depending on how high your total is. Most often for the second transaction I would not use a coupon. So for $108 I would only use one coupon since the overage would not be enough to justify using a coupon.
