Like...WUT?! I don't think these are legal in the USA. I always wonder why exterior of foundations aren't insulated with styrofoam. Poured concrete rebar foundations run about 100 years. Really interesting.
They exist in the USA, but being from the Boston area, I've never seen one. Seems like something that would have some advantages, but would be a lot easier to do wrong than right.
Home inspectors are useless. Go through the house with a proper contactor. We have preserved wood foundation, got it for a decent discount. But may be some issues, but hard to tell as everything is hidden behind the walls.
wrong they can build on and any area the wet ground is no different then a deserts i have been doing then all over the world and i have had no problems with then started in Michigan 1973 i have build in Arz. new Mexico California in fact i have two full basement since 1980 no crack form any of the earth quakes warmer no smell i have build this in japan about 8 different country's and Utah Idaho no concert floors in the basement or. wash. Texas Ohio Ill. so i have done then in over 29 different states right now im doing another in Idaho
