Good job, man. You have explained these concepts better than the specialized channels do.

I came back to watch this video again and I use a canon 450D with a 18-55mm lens and 70-300mm lens

I have a question: What would be the best DSLR for someone who is new to DSLRs? I have used webcams for nearly 2 years now, currently using a Logitech C920. I have Stop Motion Studio Pro, which suits my needs for now (in other words, I don't want to have to buy Dragonframe). I've been brickfilming for roughly 4 years now, and I want to have a good idea of what camera I want once I feel that I am ready to progress.

Stop motion studio pro on Mac or windows? I *think* it supports DSLR on Mac. Not sure about windows. Last I checked it didn’t. That said, a cheap Canon is one you can’t go wrong with. Like, a DSLR, not a mirrorless. I have a SL1, really love it. But a T6 or heck, even a T2i would be fine (though the latter is worse at low light. Better than a webcam but gets grainy with higher ISO gain). I wasn’t happy with Nikon’s lack of software support and I haven’t used Sony for stop motion. My programs don’t support Sony, they’re too old. Check Canon’s refurbished market, you can get them cheaper there and perfect quality. That’s where I got mine. Used is okay, but very hard to buy. Some cameras’ shutters wear out over time so buying used speeds up that process obviously. Hope this helps!

I do still use the SL1. It’s still a good camera! So are the others I mentioned, assuming your software supports them

Loooool Even on a preview I see some dust on the sensor. Older DSLRs at least have a mirror and always closed shutter over the sensor. Luckily some modern mirrorless cameras do the same thing (except the mirror).

Definitely the worst part of the mirrorless. I abuse my Canon DSLRs so some dust is expected, but I’ve never had as bad dust as quickly as when I used a mirrorless. I’m being super careful and still dirty smh.

Do you have any advices for Lego CGI. I've watched your tutorials for blender and I've done good keying in resolve but always when I try to add some blender Lego to scene it looks so unrealistic and bad😂

Also I'd need some Lego water and Lego simulations.

It’s hard to match the camera quality and the lighting. I’ll see if I can make a video about this soon! Id love to see an example of what you’ve done so I can address it more specifically to, if you have anything! Feel free to email me or if you upload to RU-vid just reply here.
