Artsadmin's festival of art, climate and community had its second iteration from 28 June - 2 July 2023.
Taking place in and around our home at Toynbee Studios in east London, this year's festival included an eclectic programme of talks, walks, feasts, workshops, performances and meditations from artists including Nwando Ebizie, The Bare Project, Tink Flaherty, misery, Zoë Laureen Palmer, Sarah Vanhee and Maria Andrews.
On the first two days of What Shall We Build Here, we co-hosted the Art, Climate, Transition (ACT) Symposium, an international gathering of artists, academics and practitioners including Zamzam Ibrahim, Mathieu Négathe-Charles, Haeweon Yi, Daniel Linehan & Michael Helland.
What Shall We Build Here 2023 was supported by BE PART and ACT, through the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, by The City of London Corporation, Aldgate Connect BID, and Arts Council England.
