I love all the exciting and even mundane places you take all of us, this is why your channel is growing so fast. Your videos are interesting, filled with many details and facts so we learn a lot by watching your videos. Some of us do not have the extra funds to spare after paying for our basic necessities because of this crazy inflation and the fact that the Californian Politicians decided to go ahead with their plan to increase our gasoline tax to 80 cents per gallon 😢😢😢

I just do it and try to beat my former time in a race. If I see flowers I stop and pick them. I don’t make it a job. 🐢 The dog in the stroller looked like the one in Men in Black.

I've been watching your videos for years, and I love them. We have lots of very busy malls in Montreal, Canada. People shop alot online but are malls are still really busy. I prefer shopping in person. Those are some great deals you got! Haha no laundry for awhile😂🎉❤

As someone who grew up in the San Fernando Valley in the 1980’s, spending time at what once was called the Topanga Mall, I do get a bit sad to see American malls now. In my opinion, Westfield grew them so big that there weren’t enough people to make the overhead make any sense. I remember when even the movie theatre didn’t save the Promenade Mall from becoming a ghost town. And yet developers decided to build big box stores between the two malls. I imagine there isn’t a shop not represented lol. Best wishes to you always, GIV, and Ty for your excellent reporting. 🇬🇧

Great shopping trip, Mike! It may just be me, but there is a "hidden message" in your video when you were showing the mall commons, there was only one empty/closed-off storefront at 12:20. Which shows me that this Westfield does a great job keeping/retaining tenants.

I remember going to the grand opening of that mall, back then it was called the Fox Hills Mall in Ladera Heights. I don’t think food courts were a thing yet but they did have a Hotdog on a Stick. People would eat there just to see all the pretty girls behind the counter wearing their stripe hot pants uniform and their fun stripe hat, serving up ice cold lemonade and corn dogs. 😊 Days when I was younger…

If I remember right, that’s the mall just north of LAX. That place a is a little rough, but I love it. There are so many dead malls now, but this one is always packed and live.

Hi! When I was younger shopping malls were the thing. I'd go 2- 3 times a week and have a blast. Today with on-line ordering and decline in businesses malls aren't what they use to be. When you lose your anchor stores like Sears, Macy's and others it hurts. The main mall where I'm near doesn't have much anymore. They still have Penny's and you can find some good deals there if you have the time and patience to look. When going through clearance racks you need both. Getting older it's alot harder for me to shop. It's also hard to be around alot of people and getting around. I pick times when it's less crowded. The food court has always been a favorite place. Not only to eat but just to people watch. I don't shop at the Trader Joe's in my area because it's in a high trafficked area and difficult to get to. It would be quite a drive for me to get to another one. Still I've heard good things about them and they seem to have alot to offer. I enjoyed your video very much and looking forward to the next one.

Fox Hill Mall was the first mall I visited when I arrived in the US in 79. I remember back then the other two anchor tenants were Broadway and May Co? To get there we take a bus from Inglewood. Good memories 👍🏻. Thanks. Btw it’s strange I like women’s perfume too but never guys cologne

Great work, Mike, and please showcase Culver City more often. Some people think that serving every available demographic somehow makes Culver City/Fox Hills "rough" or inexplicably "ghetto." Nothing could be further from the truth. The reason Fox Hills has done well for half a century is because everyone, regardless of race or social strata, can safely shop there.
