What Should You Charge As A Freelance Writer? 

Hey everyone! What do you guys think of the intro clip? It's a small edit but I'm so proud of it because I didn't know ANY video editing before I started this channel lol. Also, bought a DSLR so the footage is clearer and the camera isn't hunting for focus every time I move abruptly which should improve the viewing experience (hopefully)

Explained perfectly. In general this should be the mindset of entrepreneurs. Can I add something to it? Skills you can learn that saves your time and help you in long run to earn more: Typing: Learning to type fast is essential as slow typing eats up more time. Time is money. The more you save it the more you have it. Coding: Just basics like html, php etc. You don't want to spend a lot of money on just customise your website. Learn even if you don't have a website now. Speed reading: Just like typing, you need to make conscious effort to learn speed reading. Lot of videos here on RU-vid about it. It helps to research quicker, skim through irrelevant information and grab on important points. English proficiency: The quality of your work depends on how you play with words. You cannot call yourself a writer if you are not a not constantly recording new words. Read books, fiction, nonfiction, articles, watch movies with subtitles. Learn how natives use certain phrases, their slang, jargon etc. Journal everyday. Write being creative (for yourself) read it, pick out mistakes and repeat. If you want to grow in any language there should be a consistent input and creative output. When you converse, make sentences in your head, speak them, analyse if you sound correct, your brain starts accept it like your mother tongue (I learnt turkish that way) (Some many here have common hindrance i.e english as second language, that's why wanted to say) Books for new entrepreneurs: 4 hour work week. Rich dad poor dad. Show your work. Linchpin (or other book by Seth Godin) Once again Khalil, nice job. Doing a great work.

Started content writing by watching your videos. I got a client in Pakistan who trains and pay me 0.4 per word. I'm happy with it as it's my first month to learn and apply these tactics for freelancing. You just need to start... Don't compare yourself with highly paid writers, otherwise you'll quit soon.
