Oh man. So good to read all these comments and feel like I’m not alone. I’m in my early 40s and been hitting the gym hard. I’m in the best shape of my life and then I checked the mailbox and bam. Felt like a lightning bolt went through my lower back. Now I’m shuffling around the house like a 90 year old. 😢
It happens to all of us even chiropractors. 90% of the population will experience back pain at some point. How and what you do will determine how quick you recover. Staying fit and having a strong core will help prevent episodes.
@@NorthPhilly_Bul that sounds horrible, my back usually starts feeling better after a day or so, not 3+ days 😯. I think the worst one was when I stood up weird and hurt my back, so I had to drag myself up a whole staircase because nobody would help me and I couldn’t stand up without excruciating pain. That one stayed for a while. It sucks so bad, why do our bodies do this to us 😔.
Was just walking up the stairs and my Lower back went , this sucks so bad On and off for 2 years I just wanna play basketball every day again Let’s hope for a speedy recovery
Threw mine out on the right side twice about month ago and was having what felt like sciatica all the way down to the right shin. No pain for the past two days so hoping the nerves/discs are healing
Please don’t listen to this man, what he’s saying will have that pain away in a week or two, and your back to doing projects for your wife, stay safe out there fellas!
I never thought i would say I threw my back out cleaning my apartment 😭 Just like you said, I picked up something that didn’t seem so heavy and as my body was angling to a straight position, I felt a shock of pain in my lower back. Then I had even more pain walking or anything that had to deal with bending even at the slightest. Thank you for you advice. I was in a panick
My back was only slightly thrown out after a gym workout and i was moving around doing my daily responsibilities fine until i made the bad decision to go to get a massage and asked her to walk all over my lower back for a strong deeply tissue massage. BIG MISTAKE! It traumatized my back more and my back locked up badly, i almost couldn’t move i was worried i would have to go to the hospital. It took me at least 20 minutes walking back n forth and moving around as much as i could so i could move at all and get in my car and drive home. Im in a lot of pain now, its been getting better throughout the night. Hard to sleep every Position hurts. Im trying the routine now from this video. I wish so much i didn’t get that massage, lesson to all be careful if you think a massage will help in certain situations. Oh my lord!
I'm sorry to hear that I hope you recovery quickly. Try icing the painful spot for 10-20 mins and then take off the ice for an hour and reapply it for another 20 mins.
They actually proved using ice on an injury dose my damage that good and actually slows the healing process…instead it’s suggested to do movements not enough to continue injuring the areas and or massaging the area
