The RPK was one of the first guns that I figured would be meta. Definitely going to be one of the ones I use. Just glad to see that there aren't any assault rifles that are going to melt you at 200m like the Grau.
You should do a video on the best attachments to upgrade and how to get them. Because some attachments are only available by getting a certain level on specific guns.
Awesome video! The TAQ-V feels so strong to me in multiplayer. The recoil is very manageable and it hits like a truck. I could see it struggle at the long distances of Warzone but honestly, slap the VLK 4x on there with the 50 round mag I feel like it could do pretty well.
Hey man, just a heads up. The armour plates in this game are worth 75 HP each. It says so in the buy stations. So your HP with just two plates would be 250HP if you have 100 base HP, and would be 325HP with 3 plates.
Not doubting it. But I haven't been able to find anything to support this. At least in an article. Trying to find a video with someone using buy station.
RPK and SCAR-L feel extremely promising to me, I'm probably going to run the 20 round mag 74U with the EBR mostly though, since in WZ you don't have to worry about base ammo and with fast hands the base EBR and 20 round 74u reload fast enough that I don't usually get caught reloading
I honestly was working on the RPK a half hour before your video dropped and I told my buddy “I think the RPK is going to be my primary for war zone 2.0” it feels so so good.
I recommend the Minibak; it has such low recoil that you can equip No Stock on it without drawback more or less, and the huge capacity is very helpful in Warzone.
none of these guns have recoil, perhaps b/c i'm on kb/m but jif i played longer with controller i think it'd be the same. The aim assist really takes over for any possible recoil there is in this game.

The SO-14 (EBR platform) feels like a much better version of the EBR. The re-centering might be the best of all the semi-auto guns and the actual recoil is pretty generous too. Default 20 round mag. And of course you can also make it full auto for short range since it’s a Battle Rifle

Just going on the sort of recoil patterns that we are seeing so far - I feel like all weapons are not going to be beams like in WZ and so for me the meta is quite clear in the first season. It is with almost 100% certainty going to be snipers in combination with close/mid range. It wouldnt at all suprise me if we see our usual influencer suspects running the STB 556 in combination with a sniper the first weeks and praising it as meta... then again I wouldnt be suprised if they all start posting YT vids on how every weapon is meta soon after. You are still running solid numbers, and I am still suprised how you havent attracted a larger audience. Wishing you all the best and thanks again for another solid vid.

Tony, I am a huge fan but I feel not including attachments is an error in judgement. For example, the HCR 56 has a 42 round magazine, which essentially gives it the movement of an AR. It reminds me of the OG Bruen META, and I believe will be a top tier choice.
Are there any plans to make a similar video on best snipers in warzone, their damage models etc? Would love to know the need to optimize for range if you're only doing headshots. Just want to find that next Kar98 from MW19.

I feel like we need to redefine what "long range" actually means in WZ2. At 70m, a range that good players will barely miss a bullet with a Cooper etc... you will be missing MANY bullets with the "accurate" guns in this list and there is nothing *anyone* can do about it - it's random uncontrollable spread. And these accurate guns will be doing comically low damage with the bullets they do manage to hit - like Lachman with 18 to chest. Not sure *anything* outside of snipers, rifles and LMGs is actually viable at true long range, but for good players Kastov 762 is probably the way to go - if you're already good with recoil it won't be much worse than the Lachman, and actually do damage instead of tickle for 15 sec while the target makes it to cover.
Maybe I am stupid but how did you get the data on damage? I thought that the damage values are different between multiplayer and Warzone. Is that incorrect? Anyway, appreciate the work man! Edit: nvm, answered halfway through the video. TTKs are probably not accurate.
I'm surprised no asterisk at this point regarding snipers . In the bigger maps so far, I'd say I get clipped by a sniper more frequently than any other death (aside from my like 75% death rate from a crashing VTOL that I shot down...). The damage drop-offs may change that conversation, and bullet velocity can also be impactful at WZ distances.
Yo what about the HK PSB-1(LM-S)? It seems pretty good, kills targets at firing range faster than EBR and I honestly don't see that much of a difference in recoil. Edit: Ok I looked them up on TGD website and the EBR doesnt have a ttk step on chest shots which is bonkers.
Being honest, i didnt expect the TTK of Val 46 being close to Hurricane... Range is only about 3 meters... Maybe the drop off in the Hurricane is more severe...
As far as the STB goes I think it has the chance to be the best sniper support weapon in the game. Super fast TTK close/medium range and very low recoil
I think the minibak might be a sleeper with a 64 rd default mag. I don't think enough weight is given to default mag size. When other guns start adding mags as an attachment I bet this floats up the list a little. Although I'm probably thinking about this from a rebirth perspective, which is moot at this point.
I'm still trying to figure out the hipfire modifier. Hipfire recoil control vs accuracy. Having a tough time on this build, does your website have this info?
3:06 the chart is long range TTK around 80 meters. the 74u has 4 fall off ranges inside 45 meters. so while its first damage range of 21 meters is very far for multiplayer, at 80 meters it's a different story
I can't find any fixes for this but there has to be a way to fix connection issues. I can kill in 4 shots and the next 4 games it takes 6-9 shots and then after backing out of those four games I'll get another game where it's 4 shots to kill followed by even more games of 6-9 shots to kill. Its giving me the registration, I see the hitmarkers but it won't do damage where in the firing range I won't get registered hits on the middle target every 4-6 bullets. Would like the game but this is beyond frustrating not knowing if your going to play the game as intended or have to back out and try again. There has to be a fix.
The shot reg has been fine for me. I think you’re thinking too deep into it. There is a lot of factors that go into the ttk. Damage multipliers, damage fall offs, I find it hard to believe that you recreated the same fights.
Have your meta loadouts but at least have more than one, I tried warzone recently and everyone just had the exact same loadout, I couldn't play with anything else if I wanted to stand a chance
I dont agree with this, the M4 without attachments isn't great long range but it turns into a laser with no recoil when you put it on. Definitely gonna be up there for long range
He stated that generally speaking, attachments cause the same improvements across the board. This is why base line stats are important, a higher starting point is a higher ending point when adding attachments The m4 baseline might be mid accuracy and a beam with attachments, but that means the lachman 556 with those same recoil attachments would be even more of beam
I've used both, and with the right tuning the M4 is way more accurate and easy to control than some of the other options there with similar attachments and tuning. Imo attachments make way more difference to visual recoil on some weapons than they do on others.
Sprint to fire with the STB is another huge part of that. It has SMG level sprint to fire and is very accurate. Means you’re normally landing a shot or two before the other person can fire a shot
I figured i copy my build from warzone 2. Super fast spr + kar98k. So I guess that ends up as sb50 marksmann and sx80 sniper or er300. XD i lvl 1 ar to lvl 6, Else i did 2 shotguns gold just incase and 2 marksmann gold and 4 snipers gold and I get those boring longshots via warzone to get platinum xD
