Today I've provided you guys with a pro controller bind guide made with notes I've collected over my last 3 years or so of pro controller use. I apologize if it feels scattered, but there's a decent bit of info I include in this video and I suck at organizing it lol. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this short one, it was a ton of fun to make! To all "hard grippers" out there: if you don't want accidental paddle activation, learn to put the pressure from the sides of a controller, with the inside of palms, while keeping your fingers loose. About binds - when I played on Elite 2, I used to bind both of the stick clicks to the paddles and cause of that I've never noticed increased stick drift after over a year of hard use; also, if you are the right-side-only claw player (can't play both sides on xbox controllers anyway), think about binding d-pad; if not, A&B / X/O is your best bet, I totally agree on that.

If you're not using all of them you are handicapping yourself (depending on the game). Using all 4, and figuring out how to use all of them efficiently can raise your ceiling by so much

Having jump and crouch on opposite sides is necessary IMO; also I recommend having crouch on the opposite side of your trigger finger so you can crouch at different tempos and times than your trigger pulls

Great vid!! Recently got a paddle controller for my pc, ended up buying the PowerA Fusion2, never seen a review on it till after the fact just needed a new controller. Anyway, I've got to say the paddles are a godsend for the souls games, It takes a bit of getting used too but once you do, wow so nice.

Honestly for 4:44 handplacement, I didn't take the route to readjust and learn a different grip. I straight up modified the paddles to fit my original hand placement and it worked perfectly. Thats mostly cuz I custom built my controller from extremerate, so I literally molded custom buttons to replace the stock buttons. It's a wonderful tight grip but doesn't accidentally press the buttons but still works perfectly.

As far as reliability, I’m still regularly using my steam controller I bought in 2017. Only 2 paddles, but way more accurate than 2 sticks. Should definitely try it.

I have a Razer Wolverine and play a lot of COD. I have it set opposite you. Left paddle is jump, right paddle is crouch. The little extra button I have between LB and LT I use for pinging

Same!!! M1 opens map, M2 pings. I have my right two paddles as jump/melee and the left two as reload/change weapons. I honestly can’t imagine using a different controller and am considering buying a backup before it’s discontinued.

@@nicholasgangwer4895 I think the problem is, it is not compatible with Series X or PS5 games. You can play Xbox One and PS4 games on Series x or PS5, but I don’t think you can play exclusive titles on either or these. I could be wrong, but I would advise checking before buying a backup. I moved to a new controller, a Vitrix Gambit, in some ways it’s better, but I preferred the Razor by far. Plus I have had to claim on the warranty on the Vitrix and I didn’t on the Razor TE. Consider getting a Thrustmaster Eswap S, as it looks like they have updated the back butttons and it’s easier and cheaper to replace the stick drift problems by buying a new stick module.

I’ve used my Razer Wolverine ultimate for 3 years now with the same key bindings and they work for every style of game but really excel in shooters like Apex. These Razer controllers have the additional buttons M buttons (M1-M6) but even with my ginormous hands I’ve found that I only use 4 out of the 6 of them. The top buttons are set to M1 (left) as X and M2 (right) as Y. For reloading and switching weapons in shooters this feels natural and quick. For the lower back buttons I only use the top two paddle/buttons since your fingers naturally place on them when holding the controller. The left one M3 is set to A for jumping and M4 for crouching/sliding. I’m probably going to give in and buy the Wolverine V2 chroma finally but I’ve loved using this controller.

I have the chroma v2 and it’s great. I wore out the Crouch button at M4 because I was holding my controller at an angle when pressing that button and now changed the m3 to run and m5 as jump and m6 as crouch/slide.

I have a razer wolverine ultimate, and I put a and b (my movement buttons) on the left side and x and y on the right, and the thought process behind here is each hand is going to be completely focused on either aiming on shooting, so crouch and jump is on the left and reload and swap is on the right. I kinda shy away from the middle buttons from being a button I frequently use a lot as I feel they are the most awkward to hold with your thumbs on the stick, while the last one and the one next to the bumper I can pretty much rest my hand on all the time no problem. also I'd recommend in games like apex or destiny 2 which let you customize your controls really in depth you change them around to like say cod controls and mirror those settings as much as possible, so you can rely on the same muscle memory for each game.

Also i like the v2 chroma a lot more than my ultimate and I find it more comfortable even with my small hands although my right trigger feels weird with the trigger stop as well as the switch is rlly hard to move on the right side. Is urs like that too?

I'm curious Cuda, have you every tried out gyro aiming on any games? I would like to see how you'd like/dislike it, that way you could add a new component to potential reviews with how the gyro responds or something like that. Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed! I actually have used gyro quite a bit every since I got sent a PS5 Custom Controller from hex gaming. I mainly use it in driving games, as it's very difficult to play complicated FPS or TPS games with gyro controls. I'm personally a huge fan of the feature, but not as a replacement for thumbsticks in a competitive nature

For warzone I moved slide cancel to the top back paddles and then reload and tactical equipment to the bottom ones. It works and so far zero stick drift.

I just found your channel and I love it. You know your shit and have a very entertaining way of sharing it. Here's my quick opinion on controller options and settings which I'm sure everyone has been just dieing to know. Every single game is different and every person is different and if you are confused with all the buttons and different settings you probably should just get a regular control and there's nothing wrong with that either. The whole point is to make the game as fun as you possibly can.

I'm actually just waiting for all my Elite 2 build parts to be delivered and they should be here any minute. I ordered a bunch of different stuff to try out different configuration and return what doesn't work. Not the cheapest way to do it but once I get back the money for the returns it won't feel so bad lol. I found some pretty obscure stuff around the web to try out. I'll let you know how it comes out

I always bind stick click actions at minimum, really hate having to use them in the first place. Otherwise I have to stop aiming to do the click in, and it feels like I'm breaking the controller :/

Hey. I found your channel recently, great content I enjoy it. I have a suggestion, check out the new Gulikit king Kong 2 pro controller. It's not an elite version controller so it doesn't have paddles, but they are saying they use new magnet technology for the analog sticks and it's supposed to not drift ever.

A/X on left side is nice for galloping/sprinting with one hand in RDR2 if you are getting bored when grinding, so if theres any button needed for movement you could bind that to the same side as your movement stick for lazy gaming.

When I have 2 buttons I always use left one for L3 click (or whatever sprint is,) and right for x or a (jump.) When I have 4 then I use those 2 and then crouch and reload for the other 2 unless there's some special action.

Been watching Cuda's video for a while now, I started out using the right back paddles to jump which is reasonable cos right hand is my dominant hand, I changed along the line when I saw a tutorial and it's been very difficult to adapt. After this video, I will change it back to the previous one cos it's hard jump shooting with the paddles on my left hand

I got myself a add on for my pad,with two paddles..saved a loads of money. Best thing is,comes with a TURBO Button so can turn any semi auto into full auto. £5 for two extra buttons and turbo loving it

Honestly for my razer wolverine v2 chroma (and my wolverine ultimate) I have x on the m2 button, y on m1, a on m3, and b on m4, then I have joystick click on the respective m5 and m6. That works the best for me and I've never changed that

I would say that back buttons/paddles are essential for FPS games now, especially for COD, as it makes slide cancelling, bunny hoping and drop shooting much easier.

Paddles ->Start/Select on Razer Chroma because how awful the start button position is and how paddles are close together. Extra bumpers to thumbstick click. Xbox Elite and Hori Octa, rewasd combos. Love to see you review Hori Octa, incredible face buttons for the price, the rest feels cheap though.

I can't go back to normal controller's now, I started out with the back button accessory for the DS4 and ended up replacing my switch pro controller with 8bitdos Pro 2. When I got my Series X I couldn't go paddle-less so I ended up getting the Fusion pro 2......which I have now replaced with original controller and Armor X Pro because gyro and its wireless. What I'm saying is its a good way to have a lot of spare controllers lol

Pro tip: If you are on PC and have Xbox Elite v2 then use one paddle for push to talk . It sad that only Xboxe Elite and Steam Controller (no longer in production) let you assign keyboard/mouse buttons. Such a simple feature but it's change so much use case scenarios with controller.

I have a Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma and my COD Warzone keybinds are M1 - DPad Up; M2 - melee; M3 - Jump; M5 - Slide; M4 and M6 are both switch weapons/re-plate. I broke my right middle finger and still cant bend it far enough so thats why I have the same button for M4 and M6. Otherwise I would probably have a reload button bound somewhere. The controller took a little while to get used to but I prefer it over the Elite.

M3 and M4 I use even like not at all but I also need it for nothing, honestly. With 4 extra buttons are enough completely. I love the Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma, for me it’s the best controller and Since I got it I have also become better especially in Shooter :)

i set them to l3 and r3 because i play single player games lol I hate pressing the thumbsticks and i heard it causes stick drift too, exception is for elden ring you really need some dpad and dodge roll buttons too so you can call horse and dismount easily

For me cuda I map one for reloading and jump then I sprint with the lower paddles and other one crouch too save longevity on clicking on the sticks

Either the elite series 2 or some brand replicating the elite series controllers. They are really heavy compared to other controllers and seem to have common reliability issues.

Rewatched your Azeron Cyborg review after mine arrived. I have not had any of the issues you experienced. I love it... With one exception. 40 Hz polling rate. Pretty underwhelming. Hoping you get your issues sorted out with customer service and can re-review it and use your platform to advocate for an increase in polling rate. It makes an otherwise amazing keypad almost a liability in competitive play.

I noticed this after I reviewed it. I can't believe I hadn't tested it sooner! It's extraordinary slow, and not the most consistent with its response times. I've seen response times from the analog stick flicker between 25-60ms of delay which is very very high However, I don't think I'll be returning to the azeron for another review. At least no time soon. I've said what I mainly needed to say about it, and quite frankly I wanna leave it there. It's a wonderful device when it works properly, and it's by far one of the most exciting devices to shake up gaming. But it isn't executed well, and that's a big problem

At first my A button was on the right side, but after some testing it is mush easier on the left side for jump shooting in WZ Rebirth Island.

U should review the gambit controller, I bought the fusion pro and Wolverine chroma and next I’m gonna buy the gambit and test them out and return 2 and keep the one I like the best. Which ones ur fav out of those?
