This is amazing, Emma! I actually just discovered "Drinking By My Shelf" and your "Book Break" videos a few weeks ago, but you're already one of my favorite booktubers. I love your enthusiasm and your book summaries. This is quite a happy place for an introverted bookworm like myself. Thank you so much from Germany :-)
Wow! What a marvelous marvelous presentation. Also your bubbly personality made this video phenomenal, keep it up. P. S. I wanted to read a book that doesn’t contain so much profanity words, something that’s a non-fiction, and has a lesson to think about.
Emma what sort of book do you recommend that is fast paced, very much character driven with a diverse collection of characters. The world could be fantasy setting or on the flipside have more of a paranormal thriller setting. The rest is up to you...oh and it has to be gripping.
I would love to read a book set in an asylum, in Victorian England or earlier, that accurately or closely represents what it was like... Or A book where someone is isolated, or trying to find humans after an apocalypse... if that makes sense? Hehe
“I never promised you a rose garden” is not Victorian England, but it is a book written by a woman who grew up in an asylum because of her schizophrenia. It was in the 1900s era, and it very accurate, because the author is actually the girl from the book, telling her story.
I'm looking to read more contemporary rom com (I think the last books I read that fit this category was the first 2 Bridget Jones books, couldn't get into the 3rd)
I like to look find that smlier to the show of Garvty Falls, (like midde garde, Paramore, with twins mc (non identical), and layer of mystery in entire story, set in summer vacation and small city
