I was quite surprised that while recharging the battery does heat up...over 83F (+/-) so far... Therefore, I think to reduce stresses on the cell, I'll likely end up preferring to undercharge the battery. Even undercharging by 0.1V or so can DOUBLE the overall lifetime of a lithium-ion cell, increasing the number of charge cycles before the cell has to be replaced. For example, if the cell normally can be charged about 300 times, then "undervolting" (aka undercharging) the cell can potentially increase this number to 600 times. Of course, the number of hours the watch can operate on a given charge might be reduced by about 10%...so instead of running for 36hours on a charge, it might only last 30 hours before requiring a recharge...but that's perfectly OK when I have access to daily recharging

i got the same watch for 8 bucks and i thought it needed a regular sim card for storage until i saw this video thanks. so this means the watch has to be on a phone service plan to fully work. mine will connect to my phone and make calls without the card but it wont set time and other features without it

My watch didn’t came with sim card and the other card what I should do

Phone calls and music files to/from Galaxy S7 smartphone work OK...but smartwatch ignores S7 (see edit:alarms) and text alerts. (note: no SIM installed, but all this should work via Bluetooth) (edit: S7 alarms now showing up on the smartwatch. The S7 alarms showing on the smartwatch JUST started working spontaneously. I didn't make any changes to the either device. Huh...However, Text Message alerts from the Galaxy S7 still not working on smartwatch. If I can get it to do this then the smartwatch will do everything I need it to do) I was able to get it to make and receive phone calls and listen to and control media files from my smartphone (Galaxy S7 Android 8.0), but I have NOT been able to get (see edit: the alarms stored on the S7 to also signal on the smartwatch,) nor alert me as to when a text comes in to my S7...which is not good. I have verified Bluetooth is setup for both media and calls connectivity, and I should also note that when connected, my bluetooth speaker DOES normally pickup and play the same S7 alarm alerts that the smartwatch fails to "see"...connected the same way as the bluetooth speaker this smartwatch just seems to totally ignore the alarms stored on the S7...they just activate on the S7 and (see edit: not the smartwatch. So that means if I need an alarm I have to manually enter an EXTRA copy of the alarm settings on the smartwatch in order to hear or see the smartwatch produce the required alarm.)
