Lowkey the parents meeting students is very accurate for young me. In 5th grade I sat down with my mom for conferences and the teacher said, "Oh, sorry [Real name] but we're doing this different and we are just talking with the parents this year. You can go look at the book fair if you want!" (Our pt conferences match up with the book fair, smart.)
