You did both low carb and vegan? What gave best results? I am now following medical medium

I’ve done a few different things, but what results are you looking for? I had great results losing weight in a calorie deficit and making sure I stay in a deficit by tracking. The results I got from MM were just a general wellness feeling, but I added protein back in to see progress in the gym building muscle. Low carb I did years ago and while I saw a dramatic drop in weight in the beginning because of the water weight dump, it was easier to eat above my deficit with so much fat in my diet that I didn’t lose weight easily with that, either. I love to eat so the only way I lose weight is restricting that in a healthy way and also allowing myself to eat all sorts of foods so I don’t have to supplement and spend a lot of money there. Carnivore and vegan diets can give good results in the short term but over the long term can cause harm to our bodies if we aren’t getting the nutrients we need and feeding our gut well.

@@LunchwithLisa Thank you for your answer. Looking to heal chronic illness. I have tried vegan diet for a year some years back before I got sick. I also tried a little low carb. Felt horrible on low carb. Doing the Celery juice and heavy metal smoothies now

@@LunchwithLisaAs I have tried vegan before, I Think the Main problems are not eating enough calories, and also eating a junk vegan diet. Other than that it was good. As a man I actually incrcreased my strength. But right now I am eating a variety of foods

Getting the junk out of your system will help for sure. Adding a lot of fruit and veggies helped me heal some skin issues. But you will eventually become deficient in B12 by not eating meat so make sure you take a supplement for that. That was the main reason I decided not to do the MM diet long term.
