It takes 4 hours in the car 2 Uber’s and a shuttle to another state to get a speaker plugged in. “We’re very happy with Tesla service”....

We've had a P85 since 2013. Service was awful from 2013 until about 2016 (very long delays and one repair would lead to new problems). However, once they started offering mobile service, it was an immediate turnaround. You can schedule an appointment from your Tesla app, and the tech will come to your home and do the repairs in your driveway. I couldn't be happier now.

Had a great experience the other day with a Tesla service guy that came to my house for a couple minor repairs to our 2018 Model 3 Performance. Trying to fix a small accounting problem with the Tesla business office has been a total nightmare, as of 07/2019 still not fixed after 8 months of trying. Won't bore you with the details.

I like the fact that they care about the cars after the manufacturing line. Everytime I have had to contact them they have done everything possible to help resolve my issues. I had a service appointment yesterday and was notified of a recall on the charging port, which they fixed for free. About 5 years ago, I discovered (via the NHTSA website) that my 2009 Chevy Malibu had a recall, took it in to the dealership and was denied the recall repair. Also, a service member recently bought a new vehicle (I believe it was a Toyota), discovered that the it was shaking violently a few days later, and was told by the headquarters of the entire company that they were aware of the issue and had no plans to fix it. I am so glad that I bought a Tesla. It would be extremely hard for me to give it up if I was forced to. The car and the service are superior to any other automaker right now.

I've had a Model 3 since October and Ive never regretted the purchase. I also own a 2019 Raptor, a 2009 Nissan GT-R and the Tesla M3 is my favorite! I've done road trips from Utah to Washington in the Model 3 and I actually like road tripping in a Tesla. It forces you to stop and enjoy your surroundings, get out and explore parts of the country you otherwise would have just blown through. I've done road trips from Utah to Las Vegas in the Model S and trips from Utah to LA in a Model X and same thing, I like it! Sure, quicker charging time in the future will be nice but being forced to get out of my car and stretch my legs makes the trip feel shorter.

To be fair, with a traditional gas powered car, they probably wouldn't have developed these manufacturing-based problems so early on in its life cycle. This isn't EV vs gas. This has to do with Tesla not having enough manufacturing expertise to build cars to not have these issues when they're still so new. That being said, I'm shopping for a Model X or Model 3 myself :) Or should I wait for the Model Y lol

Sooo true !!! But it can be worse... I got an appointment after 20 days, then came there in Amsterdam, ‘someone unknown untraceable’ removed the appointment to Tesla road service without informing me. I just have to wait for the call. Now it is one week later. Still never heard anything. To be sure I planned it again as a backup. Again 20 days waiting, 40 in total! To be continued... In conclusion, service is a serious issue.

Richrebuilds channels showed that on some Tesla's there could be a coolant teak up in the dash that drips onto the main computer behind the large screen. Sometimes the screens will start to leak some sort of gooey mess onto some of the electronics. I would hope that most all of these hardware failures would be covered, since these cars are still evolving.

This makes my problems with two Mini's a walk in the park.

There are so many people sh*tting on Tesla, but ICE vehicles are literally SUCKING up oil. Forget the service gripes, this company is trying to create a little sustainability for US when it seems many of US don’t want it for OURSELVES. The video was dope and very introspective for me and all others interested in Teslas. I cannot wait to buy my own.

My vehicle is gas powered. So far no issues with it. I drive a 2020 Ford Escape SE in black. I do liked Tesla vehicles. To me they are sharp looking.

The Tesla service center is literally so close from my house.

I'd talk to i1Tesla, they claimed their "Squeak" warranty was out after 12k miles. I've had good luck with my 3 with service last year and beginning of the year on some issues. Very fast to fix.

Can you imagine these repairs after the warranty period $_$

Problems if you have a Tesla are so simple. The 6 hour travel time outdoes transmission failure, check engine light that is a mystery to fix, etc etc you have with a regular car.

Wow, this is still really good service even despite the tire issue. I'm really not surprised they didn't replace them, and I would be surprised if another manufacturer did on a demo vehicle.

There is no need to replace the wheels because the tire tread is low.All you have to do is replace the tires.

I know you're impressed with the speed and price of service, but it's a terrible sign that multiple cars with less than 50k miles on them have so many random problems. If Tesla wants to become a household car, it needs to get on the level of companies like Honda and Toyota. I've owned multiple and they've never had random electrical/mechanical problems with little parts just breaking or becoming unplugged.

I know a guy who wants a Tesla to tear down. We’re talking scratches at a level 6 with deeper grooves at a level 7 kinda guy.

Service is still terrible. I'm here in California by the Fremont service center, the same same city they build the cars in and the service is terrible, they keep damaging my car while trying to fix previous damage that they caused to my car.

Only one camera actually works... lol.. the other ones are just there for the future as some Tesla employees stated :D
