What The Badlands Biome Update Might Look Like - Mellow Mode - Minecraft Animation 

You know he’s a real one when he makes a dark mode version too.

Dark mode is a lot easier on the eyes, but I will say, the player character stand in does blend into the background making it hard to see them compared to light mode. Maybe for future videos have them be a lighter grey to stand out.

Honestly dark mode should just be the default version. It’s just so much more pleasing to the eye. Either way the videos are still amazing and we would watch any version :)

Mojang confirmed that Vultures won’t steal your stuff - they’re just attracted to your corpse. Thus, they’re actually useful - if you see a bunch of vultures circling a spot, you know where your loot is!

Just a tip, you need to update some of the animations or models to be seen easier in this dark mode. This makes me prefer the light mode, but for future reference if you want to do this again 😁

The thing that this guy has made dark (mellow but its just more memorable as dark) mode and light mode, wasting time is just amazing. I have never seen this on youtube before.

I've got to say, my initial impressions are always "this seems a bit extensive for Minecraft" but quickly turns into "why doesn't Minecraft have this already?" which means these videos are more than doing their job of convincing me we 'should' have these things, other than the general entertainment part of these videos, which are--not to mention--'definitely' entertaining to me. This is the type of content that 'greatly' satisfies my thirst and wonders for what Minecraft 'could' or 'should' end up being. 'Love your ideas, can't wait to see all the more in the future.

I would love to see the treasure glove get more uses Other uses I thought of for the treasure glove is that maybe if you put a netherite I got inside of it, other metal ores like raw gold, raw iron, and raw copper left in the ground in item form would slowly magnetize towards you. Or maybe instead of putting netherite in the glove to use this, you’d put copper? Maybe it goes from iron, to gold, to copper, to netherite, and the stronger the metal that you put on the treasure glove, the quicker other metal ores move to you

Another way for you to get back your stuff could be to set up a food place. The more raw and dead the food is, the more attracting it would be for the vulture, especially since it gives them saturation and the most amount of health. I mean, they could even target undead mobs with meat on them (for now zombies and their variants) turning them into skeletons. This would be kind of like a mix of the Dolphin and the Fox mechanics, except with the fact that they fly a lot so they wouldn't be the easiest creatures to control and make farms on small scales, large scales though, it would be ridiculously easy to build a wall around the entire Badlands biome and set that up to be a ore/jewel farmer, though insanely complex and time consuming so it would be impractical.

I have another idea for the fancy cactus: When you shear it you can rather eat the fruit or brew it, when you brew it you get a thorns effect like the enchantment, when you drink it it will work like thorns, this would be definitely useful in early game

The fancy cactus is what we call in Arizona a prickly pear and it’s fruit is used commonly to make candies and jelly, so I was thinking that maybe jelly or jam could be an item that can be crafted with a food item which adds effects to food almost like enchanting your food. things like prickly pear, berries, melon, apples, and carrots could be made into jam, giving more use to food items that people probably don’t use much. for example melon jam could be added to bread giving the bread the effect of healing a heart or two when eaten.

I wanted to suggest another idea that might already be suggested by someone else I don’t know but, what if when you got hit by a fancy cactus a “needle” gets stuck into your skin and you get half heart of damage everyother second and to remove the needle you must find it in your inventory, after a each hit you drop an item or get more needles stuck in you skin causing more damage. After removing the “needle” you would need some peice of leather armor to safely pick up, once pick up could craft it together with string and a bundle for a sewing kit, fill the bundle part of the sewing kit with dye, you could use it to customise leather or wool. When using the kit on a peice of armor or wool in the players inventory a menu pops up that allows you to colour the item, one dye is one pixel, so you would need to constantly add more dye for a peice of custom leather armor. What do you guys think, anything should add on

Idea 1: A vulture can sleep on cacti and restore the energy spent during the flight. It can also sleep in trees, but the cactus is the preferred place, because it will protect the vulture from predators by shooting at them, and also the cactus can wake the vulture when prey approaches + the cactus can poison the prey and the vulture will be able to finish it off and eat it. Idea 2: There may be a small underground lake under THIS cactus, and the larger the cactus and the number of flowers on it, the larger the underground lake.

About the vulture eating the cactus fruit... its a good idea to give the new cactus and consequently the cactus fruit a use but vultures are scavangers, so it wouldn't make sense. I think it would be rather fitting if they could eat rotten flesh instead and give a use to that item, other than selling for diamonds or emergency food ofc. Great concepts though, love the art. :)
