I don’t think I can narrow it down to one favorite. I thought they were all wonderful. Sally Struthers character was a little over the top but, it worked.
No favorites here. I think that all characters are funny, interesting, and very human. I was a divorced single mother, and when the show first became popular, watching this show by myself, and at times my daughter became something that we really an enjoyed and that provided characters that in some ways mirrored our lives. I also really enjoyed the lovely and funny diversity of characters.
I would love to see Gilmore Girls return with Rory and her baby to be (daughter preferrably), Lorelei as grandmother and Emily as great grandmother (taking the place the eldest Lorelei took). This would be a great show.
Gilmore Girls has been my comfort show since the beginning. I was a preteen when it started and now I’m almost 32. I literally rewatch it over and over and will watch it simultaneously on 2 different platforms. I have been Rory and now I am at the Lorelai stage. I listen to Scott Patterson’s “I am all in” podcast and they had said it would be cool to see a Gilmore Girls Prequel series. So not have the original cast but younger versions to see what everyone was like before the original show started. I love all of the originals but it would be so cool to see a toddler “Rory” and a teen/young adult “Luke”. Really would be cool to see all of them younger. I love seeing all of them doing other things.
Although I really love this idea it honestly just wouldn’t work because of all the new technology we have now and all platforms that to fit the Gilmore girls style it wouldn’t be realistic
I love Gilmore Girl! I'm still hoping for another season to come. I want to see them again and I wish someday me and my daughter relationship are like them.
I really want to see another Gilmore Girls A year in the life so we can find out who the baby's daddy is. I mean it could be Logan or the Wookie. And I'd love it if Logan ended up not marrying Oddette and got back with Rory
I actually didn't think about the Wookie until this video. However, I think it is Logan, because she thinks it will be the thing to pull him away from his fiance.
Happy the cast members are thriving in their acting careers. Annoyed that Rory ends up in the 2016 series pregnant in her 30's with a faltering career. Rory should have ended up with a successful career in journalism. And she should have ended up living overseas with Logan (after their many years apart post-college).
@@AnaB01 I agree! Achieving intellectual success in college and in her case in an Ivy League college does not translate to a successful career. There is so much competition out there and many other Ivy League graduates who are competing for similar jobs. Some people have remarked that she broke up the relationship between Logan and Odette. I have someone who has been married and divorced, my first instinct was to blame the girl my ex-husband was with for ruining our marriage but in truth and through much therapy, I came to realize that it was my ex-husband who broke up the marriage. The girl could’ve been anyone. Her name was Carol but it could’ve been Patty or Julie or anybody else. I don’t think that either of us were particularly happy but I would never leave the marriage because the Internet marriage for your kids seems to me the best path until they are at least 18. Of course that doesn’t mean if you’re abused that you should stay in the marriage. I also came to find out that my husband had many extramarital affairs thru the years. There is no good way to end a marriage but it would’ve been preferable if he had said to me that he wasn’t happy and he was no longer in love with me and left the marriage to be with somebody else. But as you said, things don’t always turn out the way we plan. I think she went back to Logan because she never got over him. I think she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him and I guess she will let her know what was meant to be unless they have a second revival
@@shereeharhay1963 oh honey !!!I cannot imagine how hard this must be for you . I'm glad you know you deserve better no you deserve the best ♥️I'm sending you nothing but love to you :) Also yes rory was always a good kid so a lil bit of criticism even made her break so hard like the time she dropped out of yale . And from then on I felt she just went on trying to show people that she CAN do things rather than proving that to herself . Like she was seeking validation and you can see that in revival that at that point she was so tired of doing that she kinda became a mediocre In her dream job too. It's a little sad but that's real imo I like her with Logan but they aren't right .
I agree. Rory’s storyline deteriorated towards the end. She started out as ambitious, hardworking, bright and dedicated to a great future. Late in the show, Rory began to flounder. She became susceptible to less than optimum sexual relationships and made poor career choices. Neither trend seemed in character for Rory.
I’m glad to see all the cast doing well and successful after the season ended. Although I would absolutely love to see the cast come back again for another reboot of Gilmore girls !! 🙌🥹🙌🥹❤️❤️
But her story was way more than Loreleis, she went to college, graduated, and traveled the world while writing. It just sucks she didn’t get the successful career because she worked so hard. She did end up pregnant but her mom was a teen when she got pregnant. I kind of wish they would’ve continued a year in life so they could show that her book was successful and people started calling about her writing. This show goes to show you that not everything goes how you plan it.
I hated hearing that Jared Padalecki almost didn't get on Supernatural, because it was GG who dumbed down his character, Dean, when Alexis Bledel started dating Milo V.
Even dumbed down, he was more educated and mature than most high school boys. He held his own at the Chilton dance, with Richard about the car, w Lorelai, working a few jobs, etc.
I really want another Gilmore girls because I want to see who is the father of the Rory’s baby and if it is Logan‘s baby what’s gonna happen is he still going to marry Odette
Kelly Bishop's performance is on par with Jessica Walter's character on Arrested Development. Can you imagine if those two characters would have met? Fun Fact: Bishop won a Tony as the original Sheila in A Chorus Line.
I watched the whole thing, but I don't like what happened to Rory. I was rooting for her. She should have become a CNN anchor, or something wildly successful. Instead, she sleeps with her married ex-boyfriend, has a one night stand, and steals a sail boat. Hollywood wants nuanced characters, but this was just too much. What a disappointment.
It makes her character more realised we all f*ck up. All this is the reason i like this show it talks about the struggles, how life can turn out not what we all have expected.
So would I for the Gilmore girls to come back on with her daughter have a baby girl make more episodes it would so great please make more episodes it would so great for a come back
Luke and Lorelei didn't break up b/c of April. They broke up b/c they had communication issues. I hate when people blame a child for breaking up a relationship, fictional or no. Unless your kid is Chucky, it ain't happening.
