Loved this show and loved the sister! She wIS the best character on TV for girls! She was under played but had the greatest spunk, confidence and willingness to try new things! She was a true hero not like Hanna Montana… I’m just saying.
Loved Eden Sher, she was the best character in the series and most underrated. Don't understand why she never made appearances on SNL. She so much fun!
So did I. Although I'm the eldest, there were some parts of Sue Heck I could relate to when I was in junior high and school, such as experiencing growing pains.
Loved "The Middle" so much. All the characters/actors were wonderful including a lot of the "in and out" cast - the Donahues, Sue's friend Brad, all the grandparents & aunts; Mike's crew at The Quarry; Norm McDonald; and even Doris the dog. Would love to see these actors on tv again.
Unfortunately both Patricia and Neil had sitcom bombs following The Middle. But it happened to Patricia as well when Everybody Loves Raymond ended. I last saw Patricia on The Drew Barrymore Show.
This was a great show and one which maintained its level throughout. This was the last show my kids, 13 and 17, wife and I would make a point to sit down and watch together. I could not tell you anything on any of the major networks on any given night anymore but we knew when the Middle was on and made a point to watch it.
Sue, of course! I was hoping the spin-off show about Sue would happen, unfortunately, stupid ABC decided not to go through with it. Maybe that's for the best now that Eden Sher is a mom to twin babies!
I got into The Middle very late, but watched the last couple seasons as they aired. At some point, I want to go back and binge it from start to finish. What I liked about it is that it really felt like most middle class families. You had the working parents, the different personalities of the kids, and not a lot of money to throw around, as many other shows portray. It was also great seeing Sue grow up. I didn’t start out with her being my favorite of the kids, but by the end, I was truly hopeful for the Year of Sue.
I cried more than I ever have in my life when this show ended. It was the last show that I enjoyed growing up and I felt like my childhood was officially over 😢
THe Middle is one of my favorite TV shows on The Family channel Hall Mark Channels ! I watch the reruns alot when they show the reruns ! Awesome video !Thank you very much !
My wife and I both enjoyed the show. You could picture someone you knew in all of the characters. Also, I've never seen a TV. family with my last name. I believe the middle was in reference to them living in middle of the country. It was quite funny.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV, Jesus Christ is the only way........
Carols Second Act was a good, funny show but Covid caused the second season to be postponed too long. We need shows like that to be produced. So sick of reality tv. We need sitcoms!
Patricia has a history now of leaving shows with a long run and have a show that fails. She was on 30 Something, Alien Nation, Everybody Loves Raymond. But had some shows fail. I first saw her in the original Beethoven film. She was wife of David Duchovny's character. They were the neigbors. Patricia is unrecognizable as back in 1991 had very short red hair.
I miss them all....quirky but super intelligent Brick, annoying & obnoxious Axle, sweet & optimistic Sue, serious & quiet Mike, cranky & desperate Frankie...and all the other neighbors & co-workers too!!
American comedy for me very much hit and miss, for me this is a massive hit, great variety of characters and great writing is all a great show needs, doesn't necessarily need great storylines, look at the royle family, very little storyline just great characters and great writing, ditto the middle although they at least get off the couch occasionally 😁 great show, would watch it again and again. favourite character??? only way I could decide that is to think who would the show most miss and that would have to be Frankie, and I must say as a red blooded man for a lady of a certain age, Patricia Heaton ❤️❤️❤️
The spinoff never got the green light. And the show was supposed have cameos from all the cast. But be about Sue Heck and her life as she goes to college in Indianapolis and then gets a new home.
I watched it every week when it was still coming out since the pilot episode, was very upset when it was ending, found out it was in HBO max, and have rewatched the series 8 times.
Loved it! I think the only reason the spinoff didn't get picked up was because if she met another guy there wouldn't be a "will they or won't they"- they won't. He's not Sean.
I've been benching on the last couple of weeks, and I am just TikTok pink over the characters. I didn't realize that while it was in season, I had seen many of the episodes. And i'm rewatching right now. I am having a ball, laughing so loud it scares my dogs. l o l
This show helped me embrace white people more than anything had ever done. I'm a south African ( Nelson Mandela country) and we have the worst inequality in the world so it was important for to realize that white people can have the same economic and life struggles as black people have.
