My favorite prank I did as a kid was when I printed out a bunch of pictures of Nicolas cage and planted them around the house for my family to find. It ended up being a funny scavenger hunt that lasted a couple weeks, because I hid around 20 of them. To me, a prank has to be something that makes the other person laugh. Otherwise, what’s the point of the prank?
I love how the guy who cheated on his grieving girlfriend said the issue was accidentally commenting on her weight. Nah, you cheated. That’s the issue.
There are always stories like that. They can explain how they did the worse crap possible and then be like “so am I the asshole for this super minor offense that had nothing to do with why people are mad at me?”

Lmfao, I've done similar. I got appendicitis while up at my friend's cabin when I was in high school. We'd made a midnight Walmart trip to get meds for me when we thought it was something else and I'd taken the meds with a whole big bottle of blue Gatorade. The moment we got back I ran inside and power puked blue where obviously everyone in the cabin was listening to how awful it was. I literally crawled out of the bathroom the short distance to the living room and rolled myself onto the couch from the floor. My friend: *all wide-eyed* "hey...are you alright??" Me: *total nonchalant tone* "oh yeah, I'm *fine*!"

i was in a car accident, had a panic attack then immediately wanted to sleep. i banged my head so hard i blacked out and when i told the emt i was super tired and said “can i sleep?” he said “welp! it’s not recommended!” LIKE YES OR NO???
@@katielowery1925 The reason it is not recommended is because the first few hours after the head injury are when a lot of the scary things can happen (vomiting, seizures, etc.), so the goal is to monitor the individual for as long as possible to make sure there doesn’t seem to be any injury that is so severe it needs to be treated immediately. The fear is that if you fall asleep, you may succumb to whatever injuries you have in your sleep and die before you can get treated for something that is easily solvable when being monitored
"Tony Pizza" reminds me of a pet name I gave to my ex's cat. His real name was Cheeto (male orange tabby with lots of love to give) and I started calling him "Cheetony" with a really heavy Italian accent at some point. I'd greet him with "Cheetony, baby! Where's my money at, eh?" And he'd reply with his tiny little dainty meow. I miss that cat. 🥲

I cannot describe the anger I feel about Story 7. What a worthless person, to see your partner going through one of the worst emotional pains imaginable and make it all about you. If she’s grieving too much and not giving you the attention you clearly need, do her a favor and let her go so she can find someone who treats her like an equal.

Sounds like this guy is 21 and hasn’t hit the maturity level when he realizes (if it ever happens for this guy) that relationships are partnerships where both people benefit from a team effort. And not, what can she do for you. How can she make your life better only. He needs to be broken up with repeatedly until this realization dawns that he is only the main character of his own life, and the world does not revolve around him. And then AFTER THE BASICS he can start to learn how to treat his partners with respect, tenderness, and consideration, again basics. Fucking yikes. I don’t have faith but here’s hoping.

Dogs will take a disliking to you for some reason, usually something to do with your body posture, body language or perhaps how you smell to them - but they absolutely _do not_ even comprehend the _concept_ of "ugly" or "pretty/cute". About the girl that lost her child, I can only imagine that she stays with the horrible boyfriend because her parents are even worse and this thought is honestly so sad.
The seventh story is so… I have no words to describe how HORRIBLE this guy is! He’s only thinking about himself and not realizing what a horrible person he is… she’s grieving. That’s why she got back to binge eating. He should’ve helped her and talked to her. He has no empathy and is like a stone to her! He’s a straight abuser. That’s what his story and his words tell.
Story 6 reminds me of the time I had met a girl and she said she didn’t like looking at Pomeranians in a light hearted manner, so I spent the next couple minutes giggling and showing her Pomeranian dogs etc, because I thought she just didn’t like the dog. Only for her to burst into tears and tell me that her Pom had recently passed away 🙃
the third one had me tearing up. the fact that he wasn't even getting pleasure out of it (physically atleast) and whatever he did to the tree looked like he was trying to pleasure it is hilarious to me. my cheeks hurt from laughing.
Funny how story number 2 bf didn’t have enough time to cook/order his own food or clean his rug. But, he did have plenty of time to disrespect his gf, scroll through tiktok and spend his whole night trying to get ahold of his gf to lecture her, ofc while he was still “studying”.

Jokes are only really funny if both parties are laughing. Other than that, it's just being a dick. Could have easily been fixed if he apologized, didn't try to use an excuse, and didn't try to lecture her. She didn't have to throw the food, but was she supposed to go, "teehee here's your food you funny sweet man!"

Story 7 was heart wrenching. I was watching a video elsewhere and they mentioned how there is no word for when a parent loses a child. If someone loses their partner they become a widower and if a child loses their parents they become an orphan. Someone mentioned that in their native tongue there is a word for when parents lose their children. I can’t recall the word but I do remember it’s translation “When the rain falls back to the sky”.

I’m dying at Drew’s take on the intelligence of dogs. 😂 It’s pretty widely accepted that dogs have similar intelligence to toddlers, some more, some less. Obviously they don’t understand all human concepts, but they also have increased senses. I mean, they can literally sense the Earth’s magnetic field🤯
loved this episode! ❤ also dogs actually can remember past trauma from abuse or tough living situations it works very similarly to humans. they can even be diagnosed with ptsd and can become depressed when their owner or another animal friend dies 💔
Omg when Drew described the way she doesn't liked being touched I got so excited bc I'm the exact same way! Any time I try to explain to ppl that I don't like being touched unexpectedly, like I have to initiate it, they don't get it. Finally, someone else who is the same way!
I have a very affectionate family, and one of my sisters HATES being hugged or touched, UNLESS it's her Dad. My Mum and him got divorced years and years ago, and it really hurts my mum that she raised my sister, but she chooses to give all her affection to her Dad who we barely saw as he worked abroad. She's very affectionate with her daughter (my niece), though which is nice to see as my niece has Global Developmental Delay and autism, so isn't overly affectionate either

A cheap fix for puffy eyes, put spoons in the fridge until they are cold and hold the back of the spoons around your eyes. Repeat until you feel better and eyes are less swollen. If you have any caffeinated tea, you can pop the used bags in the fridge and place them on your eyes for ten to fifteen minutes. The caffeine in them helps reduce swelling as well. I hope that today was a better day for you and that tomorrow is even better! ❤
Deison is so relatable! I got hit with a weed whacker by a guy doing lawn work along a sidewalk while I was on my bike. It cut my arm open but I thought I was alright and I was embarrassed so I said sorry and rode away. It was bleeding down my arm and I rode about a mile back to my apartment. Great episode! Love them!

Omg… for the girl that lost her baby… I lost my 9 year old son from brain cancer 4 years ago. I cannot even imagine someone treating me this way after such an unimaginable loss. This just broke my heart. She needs to leave and go home to her family. He’s a fucking asshole and I wish nothing but terrible things to happen to him. I hate people. How could someone be so cruel?

Story 7 is super sad, they’re both really young to be dealing with this stuff. He isn’t mature enough to be in this relationship. She is going through things that no 19 year old should ever have to go through and something he can’t understand. I hope she gets out of this relationship and takes time to grieve and heal.
Story 6- the goody bag vet story. My step dad did something similar with his neighbors. They’re a couple and they were doing something in their front yard and my mom was waiting for my stepdad in the car and instead of just getting in the car to go to the store he went up to the neighbors and was like “ohhh hey ladies?! We’re having a gardening party today huh??” And they looked up at him and were like “no…our dog just died. We are burying him” lmaooo
The one where Drew was saying her bf was saying she showed him a video on IG and he claimed she'd showed it to him before but she said she'd never seen it.. That has LITERALLY HAPPENED to me and my bf and I broke down crying because I thought I was going crazy!! I'm glad someone else knows what I felt!

Turns out I needed that laugh, because goddamn the story about the woman losing her baby and the POS boyfriend cheating and calling her fat is probably one of the saddest stories on this podcast. That woman needs to get the fuck out of the relationship, go live back at home with mom and dad, focus on herself and forget that horrible, awful, disgusting man. I hope he never knows the warmth of a relationship with a woman again. I hope once he realizes the emotional damage he caused her, he will never sleep a normal night again. The goodie bag story reminded me of my little sister, she didn’t tell her friend that our dog passed away, and so when her friend came over she excitedly asked where our dog was. My little sister then grabbed her hand and walked her to the dogs urn. where she then presented the urn like she’s showing off the free car they won.
I _hate_ pranks, and the only real exception was the prank me and my family pulled on my brother. He really desperately wanted a specific guitar, and Christmas was coming up. My parents had already kind of set up the “prank” by telling him they weren’t sure they’d be able to get it, and not to necessarily look forward to it. When they brought it home, they stashed it until I came up with the idea to wrap it up and put my name on it so he doesn’t suspect that it’s the guitar. Instead, I took an old Amazon box and placed a picture of Obi Wan Kenobi from the original movies and the phrase: “This is not the gift you are looking for.” Then, my parents helped me wrap it… a few times over. 😉 When he opened up the tiny box and saw that it was a gag gift, he just started laughing, only to get really excited when we directed him to his guitar, which he loved. It’s my favorite prank I’ve ever pulled to date, and it ended with everyone laughing (as it should be).
OMG I'm so happy that Drew come back & with her sister. I remember her take on the necklace wedding story one year ago. The only thing that would've done this episode better it would've been if you read the update of that story. But hell, if this one was a good episode!!!!
